Is Kyle Viljoen From Below Deck Med Dating Anyone?
Kyle Viljoen was willing to give it up all for love during "Below Deck Mediterranean" Season 7. During one of the charters, the steward locked eyes with charter guest Frank Fay, igniting love at first site. Viljoen was well aware of the hard and fast rule that crew members are prohibited from engaging in romantic relationships with charter guests, but with Fay, he was close to crossing the line and perhaps even willing to lose his job for a shot at love. "I'm in a situation where I could potentially have the love of my life – and this has never happened to me – do I want to explore it? Honestly, it'd be silly not to," Viljoen told E! News.
After the conclusion of Fay's charter, he finally met Viljoen outside the yacht, with the two finally sharing a steamy kiss. Many "Below Deck Med" fans were rooting for the couple and were happy to learn Viljoen was able to meet Fay in New York City after filming for the season wrapped. Sadly, Bravo dished that their romance didn't last. However, Viljoen managed to ignite another flame during his stay, but did he get the happy ending he was after?
Kyle Viljoen met his future husband
In a May episode of "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," Kyle Viljoen revealed he was in a relationship. He pointed out Zachary K. Riley, seated in the audience, and shared, "He's a really good man. He's a doctor. He's a physical therapist." Viljoen later revealed, "This man, Zachary, is definitely my future husband. There's no doubt about it."
Viljoen explained on Instagram that he had met Zachary just two weeks after moving to New York City. "I moved to NY in my new apartment in search of something new as I am one for challenges and constant changes, after living in 3 countries and travelled to over 50 places in the world. It seemed impossible because I then met Zachary who changed my whole perspective of love," he wrote.
Viljoen later credited Frank Fay for meeting his new love. He posted a series of throwback shots from Fay's charter and wrote, "My first all gay charter group was packed with love, kindness, well wishes and FUN! because of Frank, I have now met the love of my life and partner for life." Viljoen clearly manifested his "future husband" and later shared some exciting news with his fans.

In August, Kyle Viljoen may have subtly announced his engagement to Zachary K. Riley in an Instagram post. The yachtie shared a sweet shot of the two lovers alongside their dog Jameson, captioning the shot: "I searched across oceans and years for my little family, to fell home, to feel love, to feel complete and to feel like I can truly live my open authentic life. To my hubby to be @dr.zriles and our lover Jameson! My life would be incomplete without your both." A "Below Deck Med" fan reached out in the comments with some words of encouragement, writing, "I'm so happy for you! Out of all the seasons of the show you are by far my favorite!!! Keep being who you are, because you are amazing!"
According to his LinkedIn profile, Riley works as a physical therapist at NYU Langone. Viljoen shared with Bravo that his new flame wants his work to focus on helping transgender patients. "This guy's got [an] amazing heart," he gushed. Viljoen also revealed that Riley is a huge "Below Deck" fan, and the two enjoyed watching the show together. It looks as if the former stew traveled the world in search of true love only to find him in New York City.
