Nate Berkus, Jeremiah Brent Welcome Second Child Via Surrogate

Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent are dads for the second time!

On Wednesday, March 28, 2018, the Nate & Jeremiah By Design stars took to social media to announce that they had welcomed their second child, son Oskar, via surrogate on Tuesday, March 27.

"It is with so much love that we welcome Oskar Brent-Berkus to our family," Berkus tweeted, captioning a black-and-white snapshot of their little bundle of joy's tiny foot. "We have waited for you, we already love you, and we as a family stand on the shoulders of so many people who have made it possible for families like ours to continue to grow. – Nate, @JeremiahBrent and Poppy."

Meanwhile, Brent shared the same photo on Instagram, writing, "Yesterday, life cracked open in a way I didn't think it could again with the birth of our son Oskar Brent-Berkus. Love multiplied. How can love continue to expand like this. Hand in hand our family is basking in the phenomenon of it all. We love you little Oskar. How thankful we are. How beautiful it all is."

Berkus, 46, and Brent, 33, married in an intimate ceremony at the New York Public Library in New York City in May 2014 after dating for two years.

The TLC stars, who already parents to 3-year-old daughter Poppy, announced that they were expecting their second child via surrogate in February. At the time, the cute pair shared a sweet video of their firstborn yelling, "We're having a baby brother!" Berkus captioned the adorable clip, "Well, the cat is out of the bag...and we couldn't be happier."
