Emily Blunt Recalls Quickly Falling In Love With Husband John Krasinski

Emily Blunt apparently fell fast for John Krasinski ... really fast.

The Mary Poppins Returns actress spoke with People magazine's Editor-in-Chief Jess Cagle on The Jess Cagle Interview and revealed that it was love at first sight for her. Recalling how she was at a restaurant with a friend when she first met Krasinski, Blunt said, "We were discussing how much I was enjoying being single."

"And then [my friend] goes, 'Oh, my God, there's my friend John,'" she continued. 'And that was it."

Blunt noted that she knew "disarmingly soon" that Krasinski was "The One." She told Cagle, "We were engaged within 10 months, but I think we probably knew before that."

Blunt and Krasinski later married in 2010. They share two daughters together, 4-year-old Hazel and 1-year-old Violet.

The Devil Wears Prada star's appearance on The Jess Cagle Interview was, in part, to promote her new movie A Quiet Place, a thriller in which she stars alongside her husband. Krasinski also co-wrote the movie's screenplay and directed the film.

A Quiet Place premieres in theaters on Friday, April 6, 2018.
