2018 Tony Award Nominations Announced

The 2018 Tony Award nominations have been announced!

On Tuesday morning, May 1, 2018, Waitress star Katharine McPhee and Hamilton alum Leslie Odom Jr. revealed the year's nominees for Broadway's biggest night during a livestream from the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. 

With SpongeBob Squarepants: The Musical and Mean Girls leading the pack with 12 noms each, The Band's Visit and Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel followed closely behind with 11 nominations each (via E! News). Meanwhile, the revival of Angels in America became the most Tony Award-nominated play in Broadway history with 11 nods, while Harry Potter and the Cursed Child earned 10.
