Here's Who Chicago Fire Star Alberto Rosende Is Engaged To In Real Life
You may know Alberto Rosende best for one of his two big roles. The actor was a staple on "Shadowhunters" for three years between 2016 and 2019, playing Simon Lewis before he traded the supernatural for flames. Rosende made his debut on "Chicago Fire" in 2019, playing the role of Blake Gallo on the NBC hit from Season 8. On the latter series, he's proven himself to be a bit of a ladies' man, as Blake has enjoyed romances with the likes of Adriyan Rae's Gianna Mackey and Hanako Greensmith's Violet Mikami over the seasons, though the "Chicago Fire" character remains a single pringle — which is probably good news for all those tuning in to swoon over those building firefighter biceps.
In real life, though, Rosende is very much a man in love. As of this writing, the handsome actor is actually preparing to head down the aisle after getting engaged in 2021, but who exactly is the lucky lady who stole his heart?

Alberto Rosende is as happy as he can be with his fiancée, Tessa Mossey. Rosende confirmed he and Mossey got engaged in December 2021 via a sweet Instagram Stories post, as he uploaded a video of his lady love alongside the caption, "Ladies and gentleman ... My fiancée @Tessamossey."
But this wasn't exactly your 100% traditional proposal. In celebration of the first anniversary of getting engaged, Mossey took to Instagram on Christmas Eve 2022 to share some unseen snaps from the proposal ... and also revealed that she too popped the question at the same time! "A year (and a couple days) ago, Alberto and I proposed to each other. He thought he was surprising me but I had a ring for him hidden on me too," she revealed. How cute is that?
Longtime fans of Rosende's will probably recognize Mossey too, because if you've ever seen "Shadowhunters," you've probably seen her before. It's thought the lovebirds actually met on the set of the show back in 2017, as Mossey is an actor and played Heidi McKenzie on the now-defunct Freeform series.

"Shadowhunters" may not be the only place you know Tessa Mossey from, though, because she's landed roles in a few other big projects alongside some big-name stars. She also appeared in the 2018 miniseries "The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair" alongside former "Grey's Anatomy" actor Patrick Dempsey, plus an episode of "Frankie Drake Mysteries" and the movie "The Glass Castle" with Brie Larson in 2017.
Aside from her acting career though, Mossey — who was born in the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island but eventually relocated to Los Angeles — clearly has a talent for modeling and often shares gorgeous snaps of herself on her Instagram account. Mossey also has a passion for yoga, which she's shared with her followers. In fact, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, she actually hosted virtual yoga classes with her fans.
