Justin Theroux Gets Caught Leaving Met Gala Afterparty With Emma Stone

Could there be something going on between Justin Theroux and Emma Stone?

As reported by Radar Online, the Leftovers actor was spotted leaving a Met Gala afterparty with Stone, sparking rumors of a potential romance. The two were photographed getting into the backseat of a car following the big fashion event on Monday, May 7, 2018. However, it's worth noting that Theroux and Stone were also accompanied by Big Little Lies star Shailene Woodley.

Theroux and Stone have been seen together several times in recent weeks. As the Daily Mail reported, the pair, who became friends while working on the Netflix series Maniac, grabbed dinner together at Blue Ribbon Sushi in New York on Wednesday, May 2. In April, Theroux posted a photo on social media of himself posing with Stone and Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness (via People). On the picture, he noted, "Bffffffs. And yes. JUST bfffffs."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Theroux called it quits with his wife, Jennifer Aniston, in late 2017, though the two didn't announced their breakup until February 2018. "In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation," Theroux and Aniston shared in a joint statement at the time. "This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship."

Their statement continued, "Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly. Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else's fictional narrative. Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another."

Theroux and Aniston had first gotten together back in 2011. They later got engaged in 2012, before tying the knot in 2015.
