"Farmer Wants a Wife" has proven to have success all over the world. The original version debuted in the UK in 2001, and in 2008, a U.S. adaptation ran on The CW. The format has been recreated in 32 countries. According to Fox, the series has had a positive outcome for some contestants, leading to 180 marriages and 410 children! In "Farmer Wants a Wife," Grayson confessed he's ready for true love. In a clip via Fox, he says, "Up 'til now, I've been really focused on building my farm and career and everything. And I'm single as a broken Pringle. You gotta find somebody to share this life with or what are you doing it for?"

As for his family, Grayson was close with his mother, who tragically died in 2019. In an Instagram post, he shared a series of photos with her and other loved ones. He revealed that her cause of death was due to health issues. He wrote, "Ole Cissy was something else, she could light up a room, make you laugh, cuss, cry, and is probably the reason I have some grey in my beard.... but nonetheless she was my mama and I will truly miss her."
