Queer Eye Star Karamo Brown, Fiance Ian Jordan Open Up About Engagement

Karamo Brown is opening up about his romantic proposal.

On Thursday, May 10, 2018, the Queer Eye culture expert and his new fiancé, Ian Jordan, spoke with Entertainment Tonight just moments after the latter said, "Yes!"

"I just I met the love of my life and to have all of our friends and family here to celebrate... [and] to have my brothers here, you know, the fab five, it's just amazing," Brown told the publication. "Like this is it."

He went on to reveal that the Fab Five themselves, Bobby Berk, Tan France, Antoni Porowski, and Jonathan Van Ness, played a major role in his proposal. "Bobby helped me plan," he said, adding, "Tan made sure we looked good."

"I feel overwhelmed, loved," Jordan chimed in. "There's no one in my life who makes me want to be a better person. Not just for myself, but for our family."

Brown, who has two adult sons, also recalled the moment he knew his director husband-to-be was a keeper. "The moment that he stepped in to be a stepfather to my kids, you just can't ask for someone better than that," he explained. "I just feel so much love."

To which, Jordan quipped, "You're gonna make me cry again."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Brown, 37, popped the question on Wednesday, May 9, while throwing his partner of eight years a surprise 40th birthday party in Los Angeles.

"You are the funniest man I know, the kindest man, my biggest cheerleader. You made me feel like I could do anything," the reality TV star said with tears in his eyes after playing a sweet video in honor of Jordan. "I hope we can conquer the world together for the rest of our lives. Ian Lamont Jordan, will you marry me?"

The following day, the cute pair took to social media announce their engagement. "Last night, in front of family & friends, I asked my best friend and the love of my life, 'will you marry me?' He said YESSS!!!! I'm engaged!" Brown shared on Instagram, captioning a snapshot of the two showing off their matching rings.

Meanwhile, Jordan posted a photo of the moment Brown got down on one knee, writing, "I said yes!!!! I love you @karamobrown with all my heart and look forward to spending my life with you and conquering the world!!!!"

Congratulations to the happy couple!
