Cardi B Speaks Out Following Fiance Offset's Car Crash
Cardi B has broken her silence after her fiancé, Migos rapper Offset, was injured in an accident.
During the evening of Thursday, May 17, 2018, Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, took to Twitter to comment on the incident. "Sooo grateful and happy today," she wrote. "God be giving messages in the weirdest way 🤔I love you @OffsetYRN."
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Offset (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus) was hospitalized after getting into a car crash in Atlanta, Ga. late on Wednesday, May 16. He allegedly wrecked his green Dodge Charger, which was later towed away at the scene. Fortunately, however, Offset is said to have only sustained minor injuries. Cardi B, who is pregnant with their first child together, reportedly rushed to Offset's side upon hearing of his accident.
According to TMZ, Offset was likely the only party involved in the accident, as neither the police nor EMTs were called. Additionally, no police report regarding the crash was ever filed.
Offset has since been released from the hospital.
