America's Got Talent Winner Neal Boyd Found Dead

Neal Boyd, who won America's Got Talent's third season, has died.

E! News reports that Boyd's mother found him unresponsive in her home in Sikeston, Miss. on Sunday, June 10, 2018. When emergency medical services arrived, they pronounced him dead at 6:26 p.m.

Boyd, who was an opera singer and who'd released the album American Dream in 2009 after his AGT win, had reportedly been seeing multiple doctors for his health. He'd been in heart failure and kidney failure, and he'd had liver disease. According to TMZ, no autopsy was performed. Ponder Funeral Home told E! News that Boyd's body had been cremated.

Boyd was just 42 years old.

Former AGT judge Piers Morgan took to Twitter to mourn the loss of Boyd. Sharing a photo of himself with Boyd, fellow judges Sharon Osbourne and David Hasselhoff, and former host Jerry Springer, Morgan wrote, "Very sad to hear that Neal Boyd, Season 3 winner of ⁦@AGT⁩, has died at 42 from heart failure. Lovely guy with a wonderful voice. RIP."
