What We Know About Jana Kramer's Fiancé Allan Russell
Country singer Jana Kramer is engaged and she couldn't be more excited! On a May 25 episode of her podcast, "Whine Down," Kramer revealed Allan Russell, her boyfriend of six months popped the question in the sweetest way ever. "It was a really beautiful night, and me and the kids were all sitting ... on the front porch of the steps, and just looking out at the view," she recounted. "And he said my name, and I got up or whatever. And then he got down on one knee, and [daughter] Jolie just started jumping up and down. It was the cutest thing ever. It's like she knew what was happening."
Back in January 2023, Kramer, who was recently linked to Jay Cutler and Ian Schinelli, revealed she was off the market. Though she kept her beau's identity hidden at the time, several weeks later Russell made his debut on Kramer's Instagram Stories (via Us Weekly). Since then, the couple adorable couple has continued to give fans a glimpse into their love story through social media. And then in March, they made their social media debut at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
But while fans have gotten to see many sweet moments between Kramer and Russell, many still wonder who the country singer's new man is.
Allan Russell is an athlete
Jana Kramer might be dominating the music scene but Allan Russell is equally just as successful, albeit in sports. According to People, Russell, a Scotland native, was a professional soccer player in his home country. Between 1999 and 2003, Russell played for the Scottish football club, Hamilton Academical, before moving on to share his skills with various teams across the United Kingdom. After 11 years playing in the UK, Russell moved to the United States where he played for the Carolina RaliHawks and the Orange County Blues FC.
These days, however, Russell is back in the United Kingdom where he now wears a coaching hat. The former soccer player kicked off his coaching career in 2017 when he joined the England national football team as a striker coach. Four years later, Russell recorded another milestone when he was named assistant first-team coach at Aberdeen Football Club.
Currently, as reported by People, Russell works with Norwich City Football Club where he serves as interim co-head coach.

In the ever-changing digital world, more and more people are embracing the concept of online dating. Unsurprisingly, this has served as a stepping stone to their happily ever after. During a January 2023 episode of her podcast, "Whine Down," Jana Kramer revealed that she met Allan Russell on a dating app amid a lot of skepticism. "When I was on that app, I was like, 'No, they live in a different country, no, no, no.' And, you know, even with him, I said, 'No ... this is silly. I'm a mom with two kids and I live in Nashville, like, how would this even work?" she shared on the podcast. Eventually, however, Kramer decided to give Russell a fair shot. "And [it was] something about him, you know, I was like, 'OK, well, let me just see, what does the conversation hurt, right?' This just feels different."
With Russell living in England and Kramer in the United States, the couple has a lot of distance between them — yet they have found a way to make it work. "We're trying not to go more than three weeks without seeing each other. ... It just feels really nice, and I don't want to put too much pressure on it and I just want to enjoy it," Kramer shared back in January, per Us Weekly.
