Becoming an influencer has been all the rage in the past couple of years, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduate decided to give it a go. According to Clutch Points, Nowak's gig allowed her to attend the 2016 ESPY Awards alongside fitness trainer, Ben Wilkinson. Although she has been extremely private about her jobs, she must be doing pretty well because she reportedly has a net worth of 600,000 dollars. According to The U.S. Sun, the couple gave birth to their daughter, Rylee, in October 2019. Rylee had some interesting timing, as she was born the night Butler was supposed to start the 2019-2020 NBA season. Obviously, the Miami Heat star's daughter was more important, and he missed the opening game and several of those that followed to spend time with his newborn.
Butler and Nowak have done their best to keep Rylee out of the limelight. Because Butler is such a well-known NBA player, it makes it hard for him to spend time with his daughter. He shared with the WSJ Magazine, "I think one of the hardest things about being a celebrity is that you can't go be a parent from time to time. I hate that I can't take my daughter to the zoo because everyone wants to talk basketball or take a photo. To my daughter, I'm just her dad. She doesn't know any different."
Fame or no fame, Butler always wants to be an inspiration for Rylee. He told GQ Sports, "I got to make sure that women are on the same level as men now, because that's what I'm going to teach my daughter. Anything a man can do, you can do." Talk about ultimate dad goals!
