Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz Welcome First Child Together

Congratulations are in order for James Bond star Daniel Craig and his wife, Disobedience star Rachel Weisz!

On Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, multiple media outlets reported that the married pair have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl.

According to a source cited by the Daily Mail, the proud parents are "very happy" to have expanded their family. However, at the time of this writing, additional details about the couple's newborn daughter, including her name and date of birth, have not been revealed.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Weisz, 48, first announced that she and Craig, 50, were expecting baby no. 1 back in April 2018. At the time, the Oscar-winning actress told The New York Times, "I'll be showing soon." She added, "Daniel and I are so happy. We're going to have a little human. We can't wait to meet him or her. It's all such a mystery."

The Hollywood couple first met while filming 2011's Dream House, before tying the knot in a secret ceremony in New York City that June following a six-month whirlwind romance. Their little bundle of joy marks baby no. 2 for both Weisz and Craig. As E! News noted, Weisz shares 12-year-old son Henry with director Darren Aronofsky, while Craig has a 26-year-old daughter, Ella, with actress Fiona Loudon.

While the notoriously private pair have yet to publicly comment on the news, the proud parents looked as happy as ever when they were spotted out and about on a walk in New York City with their newest addition on Wednesday afternoon, the Daily Mail reports.

A number of other celebs have shared exciting, albeit equally low-key, baby announcements of their own this month — including comedian John Oliver. The Emmy-winning Last Week Tonight host and his wife, Army veteran Kate Norley, secretly welcomed their second child, a baby boy, three months ago. Oliver, who also shares 2-year-old son Hudson with Norley, recently told People magazine that being a new father-of-two is "bewildering [and] exhausting" as he juggles his busy family life with running his hit HBO comedy show. He added, "But no, it's the greatest."

Meanwhile, it was revealed earlier this week that actress Rashida Jones gave birth to her first child, a baby boy named Isaiah Jones Koenig, with longtime boyfriend and Vampire Weekend singer Ezra Koenig in late August.

Congratulations to Craig and Weisz on their baby news!
