Walking Dead's Steven Yeun Expecting Second Child

Steven Yeun, who rose to fame playing Glenn Rhee on AMC's The Walking Dead, and his wife, Joana Pak, are expanding their family.

On Monday, Dec. 4, 2018, Pak announced the exciting news that she and Yeun were expecting their second child together by posting a selfie on Instagram. The photo, which Pak took in a bathroom mirror, showed her in a messy bun pulling up her shirt to reveal a baby bump. Rather than remarking on her pregnancy with a lengthy caption, Pak instead kept things simple, only using emojis to announce that she was carrying her second kid.

As noted by E! News, Yeun — who, at the time of this writing, hasn't remarked on the baby news himself, liked the post. The 34-year-old's former Walking Dead costar Norman Reedus, however, showed his love for Yeun and Pak by leaving a comment on Pak's post composed of a series of three heart emojis.

Yeun and Pak married in December 2016, tying the knot in front of family and friends in a Los Angeles ceremony. Shortly after the two married, news broke that Pak was pregnant with their first child (via Us Weekly). As reported by E! News, Yeun and Pak later welcomed their firstborn — a son they named Jude Malcolm Yeun.

Speaking to legendary TV journalist Larry King on Larry King Now in October 2018, Yeun, whose film Burning was released on Nov. 9, 2018, opened up about fatherhood. When asked what parenthood means to him, he replied, "It made me see how much I didn't know."

Yeun's former costar Norman Reedus has also been in the news recently for growing his brood. In early November 2018, People magazine reported that Reedus and his girlfriend, actress Diane Kruger, had their first child together. At the time of this writing, their child's sex and name hasn't yet been revealed to the public.
