Arrow Star Katie Cassidy Marries Longtime Boyfriend Matthew Rodgers
Arrow star Katie Cassidy is officially off the market!
On Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, the actress took to Instagram to announce that she and her longtime fiancé, Matthew Rodgers, tied the knot the day before in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony held in Sunset Key, Fla.
"I can't help falling in love with you," Cassidy wrote to her 2.4 million followers, captioning a sweet snapshot of the newlyweds sharing a kiss on their big day. "YES! It's official! #MrsRodgers I love you my husband."
According to E! News, the TV star donned a lace Pronovias dress while Rodgers sported a white tux jacket with black pants combo as the two exchanged their vows in front of their close family and friends.
As Nicki Swift previously reported, the happy couple got engaged in June 2017. The 32-year-old actress, who's also the daughter of the late singer David Cassidy, shared the exciting news on social media at the time, writing, "I can't wait to spend forever with you my darling!! I'm the luckiest girl in the whole world. I [heart] YOU to the moon and back @mattyice432. Thank you for a magical evening I will forever remember."
These two aren't the only celeb pairing to get hitched this month. Readers may already be aware that singer Nick Jonas and actress Priyanka Chopra tied the knot in front of family and friends on Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The former Quantico star has since taken her new husband's last name on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Billions star Malin Akerman and British actor Jack Donnelly also got married last weekend in a romantic beach ceremony held at the Playa Playa Project in Tulum, Mexico. "I feel so lucky that I got to marry my best friend #JackDonnelly!!!" the Swedish-Canadian actress wrote to her fans on social media at the time, adding, "Thank you to our family and friends for making this weekend so fun and magical! Many thanks also to our amazing wedding team — we couldn't have done it without you!"
