Jersey Shore's Deena Cortese is officially a mom!

On Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, the MTV star took to Instagram to announce that she and husband Chris Buckner have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.

"Our Little Man has finally arrived," Cortese wrote to her 2.5 million followers, captioning a sweet video of the couple's newborn son sleeping in the hospital. Alongside a number of blue and red heart emojis, she added, "Christopher John Buckner (CJ) born January 5th at 4:41 pm at a whopping 20.5 inches..6 Lb 8.5 ounces. Uhg mommy and daddy love you so much CJ .. youre our everything. i never thought i could love Chris anymore than i did until i saw him hold CJ."

The proud mom also posted a number of snapshots on social media to commemorate the happy news, including a pic of the father-son duo, which she captioned with, "My boys. I've never loved something so much in my entire life #ourlittleprince .. It was a tough two days and I couldn't have done it without my other half .. #wortheverymoment #iddoitalloveragain."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Cortese, 31, and Buckner, 29, first announced that they were expecting baby no. 1 in July 2018. According to Us Weekly, the married pair had tied the knot in New Egypt, N.J. in October 2017.

"Chris and I Decided to wait until we were ready to spill the beans! Now that we are safely into our second trimester.. us and our little monkey are ready to tell the world Our little family is growing! We have a sweet little boy on the way!" Cortese wrote to her fans on Instagram over the summer, revealing at the time that the married pair's little bundle of joy would be due in December 2018. "We Are truly blessed and our hearts are filled with so much joy and happiness," the reality TV star went on. "December can't come soon enough! Daddy and Mommy can't wait to meet you Christopher John. You are going to be the most spoiled little boy ever!!!!"

Elsewhere in the Jersey Shore sphere, Cortese's co-star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino recently celebrated three years of sobriety following a longtime battle with prescription medication, drug, and alcohol addiction. The major milestone came on the heels of a whirlwind year for the 36-year-old TV star, who received an eight-month prison sentence for tax evasion in October 2018. Prior to beginning his sentence later this month, Sorrentino was able to enjoy the holiday season with his college sweetheart, Lauren Pesce, whom he married in early November.

Congratulations to Cortese and Buckner on their baby news!
