Mama June Is Heading On A Strip Club Tour
Did you miss your chance to see Mama June's strip club tour in 2015? Well, you're in luck because the former Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star is headed back on the road. According to Page Six, Mama June, whose actual name is June Shannon, is scheduled to appear at strip joints in Baltimore, Oklahoma, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas in June 2016. "June has been a big hit at gentlemen's clubs," her manager told Page Six.
The manager's statement appears to be legit. According to TMZ, the reality star is in such hot demand that she's earning more than $20,000 to appear at the four clubs. June isn't being much of a diva about it, either. According to the report, her only requests are a hotel room and to fly business class to each event.
What's at stake?
What exactly will be required of Mama June at each appearance? Not a whole lot. According to Page Six, she'll participate in two hours of meet-and-greets at each venue, which will include walking the red carpet and posing for photos with fans. In other words: no stripping or pole dancing.
Page Six said porn star Jesse Jane, stripper "Little Sassee Cassee," and rapper Bubba Sparxxx will join June at her stops in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
June's strip club tour will return the TV star to the spotlight for at least another month, something nobody thought was possible after TLC abruptly canceled Here Comes Honey Boo Boo in 2014. The cancellation was catalyzed by reports that June had reunited with the man convicted of molesting one of her daughters at age 8.
