Is Jules Wainstein Getting Fired From Real Housewives?

Jules Wainstein may be getting axed from the hit Bravo reality series The Real Housewives of New York City.

"Bravo isn't asking Jules back," a source told Us Weekly in a story published June 23, 2016. The 35-year-old mom reportedly isn't connecting with viewers in her debut season, despite an emotional storyline that involved opening up about a past eating disorder. Another reason for the rumored split could be Wainstein's pending divorce from her husband. "Producers don't want another divorced woman [on the show]," the source said, referring to co-star Ramona Singer's recent divorce from her husband of 22 years.

Earlier in June 2016, Page Six reported that Wainstein was divorcing her venture capitalist husband, Michael Wainstein, 44, after eight years of marriage because she allegedly caught him with another woman. "Jules was completely blindsided by her husband's cheating, and she is going through a divorce," a rep for the reality star confirmed. "But she is very strong." A source also claimed that the couple—who have two children—began having problems during production of Real Housewives' eighth season. Suggestions of marital strife were alluded to in a recent episode.

A rep for Bravo told Us Weekly that news about Jules' potential firing is "not accurate—the network hasn't made any decisions about another season or about casting."

The Real Housewives of New York City airs Wednesday nights on Bravo.
