This Is How Much Post Malone Is Actually Worth

Rapper Post Malone burst onto the music scene back in 2015 with the release of his debut single, "White Iverson." While it might seem like he was an overnight success, Malone (real name Austin Richard Post) actually worked for years before becoming a household name. At the age of 16, Malone started recording his own mixtape. While at the time he thought his music was straight fire, looking back, he understands why it didn't give him his big break.

"In retrospect, it was awful. My beats were hard, but I sucked, he told Fader. "I had no identity or anything, I was 16." By 2016, he had a better sense of who he was as an artist when he released his debut studio album, Stoney. The album went on to debut at #6 on the Billboard 200 and peak at #4. With no sign of slowing down, Malone dropped his second album, Beerbongs & Bentleys, in 2018 — this time his album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200.

With chart-topping albums and record-breaking music, it's no surprise that Malone has his haters saying "Congratulations." And while there are still some critics out there, Malone is laughing his way all the way to the bank.

Post Malone is doing much "Better Now"

Before making it big, Post Malone had to rough it in Los Angeles for a while. "When I was young and I came out here [to California], I had a super dark time .... I was sleeping in a closet, I didn't have any money, and I would just f*****g scrounge in my f*****g friend's center console for quarters so I could buy cigarettes..." he told GQ

Now, according to Celebrity Net Worth, Malone is worth a staggering $14 million — that's a whole lot of cigarettes. Obviously, a big chunk of that money comes from touring and album sales. While headlining his 41-stop Stoney tour in 2016, Malone made an average of $243,000 per show — that's almost $10 million overall! Seeing as he was making almost a quarter of a million dollars per show for his first tour, we can only imagine how much he's raking in now during the Runaway tour.

Endorsement deals also help Malone bring home the big bucks. In 2018, the rapper teamed up with Bud Light to promote the brand. The same year, Malone also collaborated with clog company Crocs to sell Post Malone-themed footwear

While you might think you know a little bit more about Malone's life and career now, there's so much more to the rapper than meets the eye.
