Justin Bieber Look-Alike Died From A Mix Of Drugs
New details have emerged surrounding the tragic death of Toby Sheldon, the 35-year-old reality TV star who spent thousands of dollars on plastic surgeries to look like pop singer Justin Bieber.
According to TMZ, Sheldon—who was found dead in August 2015 at a Motel 6 in California three days after he was reported missing—died from "multiple drug intoxication." The autopsy report referenced a combination of drugs found in his system, including "painkillers oxycodone and hydrocodone, diazepam (Valium)...sleep aids zolpidem and temazepam, alprazolam (Xanax) and alcohol," said TMZ. Syringes and a bottle of insulin were also reportedly found in his motel room.
Sheldon, whose real name is Tobias Strebel, was featured on the reality shows Botched and My Strange Addiction, during which he spoke about spending $100,000 to look like Bieber. According to the Los Angeles Times, he underwent liposuction, lip lifts, an eye lift, fat injections, and at least six hair transplants.
"What brought me to Bieber was the whole package," Sheldon said on Botched. "The full cheeks, the full temples, the bright, open eyes, the full, luscious lips and his facial framing. His bangs and his full head of hair. You don't see any forehead, you know they're like swept over to the side and just extraordinarily beautiful."
