Where Does Channing Tatum Live And How Big Is His House?
Actor Channing Tatum made headlines in early April 2020, when the news broke that he and his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Jessica "Jessie J" Cornish, had reportedly split up. "They cared enough about each other to try again but realized it was better to move on," a source told People, just three months after their reconciliation. "It's totally amicable."
Now that Tatum and Jessie J are supposedly done for good, some fans are wondering where the Magic Mike star will end up living. It's a good question considering Tatum reportedly moved to the U.K. — where the "Bang Bang" singer is based — in August 2019, even though his ex-wife, Jenna Dewan, and daughter, Everly, live in Los Angeles. Tatum and Dewan parted ways in April 2018, after nearly nine years of marriage.
So where does the Alabama native live today, and how big is his abode? We reveal the answer after the jump.
Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan settled in Beverly Hills
Before we speculate on Channing Tatum's current living arrangements, let's first review where he and Jenna Dewan had settled down before their split in April 2018. After selling their Laurel Canyon home, the two purchased a Beverly Hills residence worth $6 million in 2015, which was previously owned by filmmaker Roberto Sneider. The home features "double-height ceilings and spacious rooms, has a master suite fit for a king and queen, as well as a gourmet country kitchen, formal living and dining rooms, and a family room," per Trulia's blog. In total, the 4,853 square-foot-house has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
Making matters even fancier? One Direction alum Harry Styles and actor Demi Moore were the couple's neighbors, as Variety noted.
When Tatum and Dewan broke up, the Dear John star reportedly secured a rental located in L.A.'s Mandeville Canyon for six months. The actor then moved to a $25,000 a month rental in the San Fernando Valley between November 2018 and January 2019, TMZ reported.
It's not clear where Tatum went after leaving the San Fernando Valley, although it appears he owns multiple homes in the Hollywood area. This detail came to light when in July 2019, a woman was arrested for allegedly trespassing at one of his vacant Hollywood properties, per The Blast.
What we do know is Tatum won't ever have a problem buying a place to live, as he's worth a reported $50 million.
Did Channing Tatum live with Jessie J?
As we touched on above, Channing Tatum and Jessie J supposedly lived together in England around August 2019. "Jessie and Channing's relationship has been going from strength to strength," a source told The Sun. "They still spend a lot of time in America, but when they're in the UK they find London quite intense so enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the countryside." The insider continued, "The property they've been using suits them down to the ground as it's not too far from London, but it's really relaxing and away from all the noise so they can spend quality time together."
However, this claim was never confirmed, and it sounds like Tatum is focused on his Los Angeles-based daughter these days. In court documents obtained by The Blast, the actor noted how he had "decorated Everly's room" at his home in a "fairytale and fantasy theme... with pictures of Everly with both [Dewan]" and him on "trips." Aww.
No matter where he is, it sounds like Tatum is committed to creating a loving home for his daughter.
