The Untold Truth Of Michelle Money

Bachelor franchise fan-favorite Michelle Money has been going through a tough time lately. Michelle's 15-year-old daughter, Brielle, got into a skateboarding accident. In a March 30, 2020 Instagram post, Michelle asked for prayers and shared that Brielle was in the ICU on life support. Michelle has been by her daughter's side in the hospital ever since, sharing updates on social media and thanking everyone who's supported their family throughout this terrible situation.

Aside from Michelle's friends and family, she has a lot of support from the members of Bachelor Nation. Michelle has been a part of the franchise since she first appeared as a contestant on Brad Womack's second season as The Bachelor's lead back in 2011. Right from the very first episode, it was evident how much Brielle means to Michelle.

The mom dished on their special relationship during the first one-on-one conversation with Brad — and many times over since then. Michelle has been very open about her personal life on TV and on social media.

Michelle Money has been on three 'Bachelor' shows

Michelle Money's Bachelor journey started when she walked out of the limo on Brad Womack's second season. Although she and Brad had an undeniable chemistry, Michelle finished in fifth place, right before the hometown dates. That wasn't her only stint with the franchise, though.

Later in 2011, Michelle and Graham Bunn made it to the finals on Bachelor Pad 2, just falling short of securing that win. And after that, Michelle was an original cast member on the very first season of Bachelor in Paradise, which aired in summer 2014. Michelle left the season in a serious relationship with Cody Sattler, who originally appeared on Andi Dorfman's season of The Bachelorette in 2014.

After filming, Michelle and Cody announced their breakup in December 2014 in a joint statement that they shared with People. In June 2015, Michelle and Cody gave their relationship another shot, per the Los Angeles Times. Michelle and Cody even joined the cast of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars in 2016.

Ultimately, Michelle and Cody's relationship did not go the distance, but this wasn't the end of Michelle's "journey" to find love.

Michelle Money is now dating a professional golfer

Although Michelle Money didn't find the one on a reality TV show (or several), she did find a love connection soon after she left her Bachelor journey behind. In August 2016, Us Weekly reported that Michelle and golf pro Mike Weir revealed they're dating in posts shared on their individual Instagram pages.

In 2017, the Canadian golfer had the Bachelor alum right by his side during the Masters Tournament. In an interview with Sportsnet Canada, Weir remarked, "I guess she's my good-luck charm." Aw, how sweet! The two of them are still together today.

The father of two daughters has been supporting Michelle throughout Brielle's medical struggles. He's also been sharing updates on Brielle's condition and asking for additional prayers in her honor on Instagram. In early April 2020, Weir posted, "Thank you so much for the thoughts, prayers, comments, and support. It means the world to us. Brielle had a successful surgery and the numbers are looking good so far. There will definitely be rough days ahead but we're feeling grateful today."

Michelle Money remains hopeful about her daughter's condition

Michelle Money has been very open about Brielle's progress on social media. On April 5, 2020, the Bachelor alum posted on Instagram, "Your prayers are helping!" However, the situation still appears to be touch and go. In that same Instagram post, Michelle shared, "Last night was so scary. Brain pressure is up. Considering other options since it can't be managed with what we are currently doing."

Michelle firmly believes the support she's received from friends, family, and even fans has made an impact on her daughter's condition. She told her followers, "once I posted to my story asking you to pray, her numbers went down lower and have maintained since then. I believe in the power of prayer." She thanked everyone for praying and continuing to do so. She ended her post with, "I just don't know what else to do and I'm alone in here and need support." Only one person is allowed to be in the room with Brielle, in accordance with coronavirus precautions.

However, Michelle is definitely not alone in spirit. She has support from her boyfriend and everyone else who's been praying on Brielle's behalf.
