Prince Louis Looks So Much Like His Mom, Kate Middleton
Prince Louis is the talk of town! The little royal is celebrating his 2nd birthday on April 23, 2020, and in honor of the event, his mother, Kate Middleton, just released photos of her youngest on Instagram. The photos show the prince doing some finger painting in a blue and white gingham shirt that is shockingly clean despite the colorful paint on his hands.
It seems that the Duchess of Cambridge couldn't resist sharing another set of photos from the same event, an "Instagram vs Reality" photo series, first of Louis' painted hands and then Louis' adorable face covered in said paint. It's safe to say his spiffy shirt didn't stay clean for long!
The photos, shared by the Kensington Royal Instagram page, were captioned with: "Thank you for all your lovely messages on Prince Louis' second birthday! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share new photographs of Prince Louis, taken by The Duchess this April."
While everyone is dying over how cute little Prince Louis is in his birthday photos, fans are noticing that Louis bears a striking resemblance to one particular member of his family.

As soon as fans saw the adorable Instagram photos in honor of Prince Louis' birthday, comments flooded the post, noting how much Louis looks like his mom, Kate Middleton.
Someone wrote: "Mom's eyes, mom's smile. He's adorable. Happy birthday handsome Louis," followed by celebratory emojis. Another person commented: "This little guy looks just like his beautiful mama. Happy birthday little prince. I hope you have a very amazing day!!!" Another person wrote: "He's definitely a Middleton," followed by a heart emoji.
Apparently, Kate herself is very aware of Louis' resemblance to her. According to People, a source close to the Duchess of Cambridge said, "Everyone always comments on how Louis is the spitting image of Kate. She loves it and thinks it's very sweet, she often jokes that he's the only one of her kids who actually looks like her!"
The Duchess' two older children, George and Charlotte, are absolutely adorable, but there's something about Louis that gives him a distinctly Middleton look. And it's not just Kate whom he resembles.

However, fans are noting that it's not just Kate but also her father, Michael Middleton, whom Louis resembles.
Several fans picked up on the resemblance right away. One person wrote: "Looks like Kate's dad to me!" Someone else commented: "He looks like his granddad, Michael Middleton!" Another person said: "He looks so much like Kate's Dad! Wow! Happy Birthday, Prince Louis!"
Prince Louis is spending his birthday at Anmer Hall, in Norfolk, according to People, while the family self-isolates during the coronavirus. But Louis' parents are clearly keeping the kids active while at home and the duchess is putting her fabulous photography skills to use, documenting her adorable brood and considerably brighting the world of social media by sharing the pics!
