The Many Warnings Prince Harry Got About Meghan Markle

Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in May 2018, there have been rumors regarding potential rifts within the royal family. From speculation about Markle and Kate Middleton not getting along to a possible feud between Harry and his older brother, Prince William, the gossip has been constant. And just when fans of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex thought the rumor mill had reached its peak, the couple stepped down as senior members of the royal family and relocated from England to sunny Los Angeles, giving their sweet son, Archie, the chance to grow up in Meghan's native home.

Of course, "Megxit" only intensified speculation about supposed discord between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the rest of the royals. Despite all the drama, Meghan and Harry have remained fairly mum amid the scrutiny, seemingly preferring to keep the focus on their beautiful family and their relationship (which appears to be going swimmingly, BTW).

Although there's a good chance Meghan and Harry are eager to leave the unflattering narratives about their relationship behind, supposed insiders have continued to come forward with new allegations. Some of these claims involve the many warnings Prince Harry allegedly received about the Suits actress, which were outlined in Dylan Howard and Andy Tillett's book, Royals at War: The Untold Story of Harry and Meghan's Shocking Split with the House of Windsor.

Intrigued let? Let's take a closer look at the new rumors clouding Harry and Meghan's relationship.

Prince Harry ignored warnings about Meghan Markle

It's clear Prince Harry and Meghan Markle come from different worlds. She's an actor with humble beginnings, while he was world-famous at birth and grew up in Kensington Palace. It's these differences that allegedly sparked red flags for Harry's family, including Prince William. "Is she the right one?" William supposedly asked his younger brother shortly after Harry started dating Meghan in 2016, per an exclusive excerpt from Royals at War: The Untold Story of Harry and Meghan's Shocking Split with the House of Windsor, obtained by Nicki Swift. William's questioning supposedly set Harry off and made him more protective of his budding romance.

As Dylan Howard and Andy Tillett claim in their book, Kate Middleton allegedly shared her husband's concerns. "She gently reminded him [Harry] that he was dating someone with a completely different life, past, and career and it would take time, care and attention for them to integrate," Howard writes in an exclusive preview shared with Nicki Swift.

Although some might perceive the couple's warnings as intrusive, Tillett and Howard's conversations with sources suggest they were well-meaning, even if Harry didn't see it that way. "It's my opinion that Harry feels he couldn't protect his mother, so he's going all out to protect his wife," an insider told Howard and Tillett. "He is so sensitive he often sees criticism or negativity where there isn't any."

Howard and Tillett's exposé is set for a June 30, 2020 release.

Was Prince Harry and Prince William's rift avoidable?

In the ITV documentary, Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, Prince Harry had nothing but kind things to say about Prince William. "I'll always be there for him and as I know, he'll always be there for me," he said when asked about the alleged feud. "We don't see each other as much as we used to because we're so busy but I love him dearly."

However, Royals at War claims rifts within the royal family did emerge after Meghan Markle became romantically involved with Harry. The kicker? The discord didn't have to happen in the first place. "The rifts that eventually opened up in the Royal family after Meghan arrived could have been avoided if Harry was able to empathize and take his brother's concerns in the spirit they were intended," Dylan Howard writes in an exclusive preview obtained by Nicki Swift.

The good news is the two reportedly came to their senses shortly before Prince Harry's move abroad. "They decided to cut out all the toxic people stirring around them to deal with each other man-to-man as brothers," a supposed source told The Sun in January 2020. "Of course there have been serious differences in opinions but the family warmth is back. And they're sad they're going to be so far apart."

We're not sure if this report is true, although we hope so for the family's sake.

Here's how Prince Harry and Prince William reportedly stay in touch

Now that Prince Harry has moved across the pond, Prince William has to make more of an effort to keep in touch with his little brother. And, as it turns out, William supposedly prefers to use a popular method of communication — the video conferencing app, Zoom.

A source told The Sun's Fabulous Digital in June 2020 that the brothers' Zoom sessions are "low key and casual," adding, "There is nothing formal about these Zoom sessions. It's about keeping in touch that's important. Harry has spoken on Zoom to the Queen as well."

The older sibling thrives on Zoom, as an insider relayed, "William comes over well on zoom. Some people just don't like looking at themselves on screen. But William looks calm and collected and actually listens to what's being said to him."

As fans might have already noticed, the report did not make any mention of Meghan Markle. Maybe her invites to these supposed Zoom calls accidentally got sent to her spam folder?
