The Truth About Kendall Jenner's Twin Brother Kirby

This content was paid for by Quibi and created by Nicki Swift.

Just when you thought you've kept up with all of the Kardashians, enter a new famous member of the family: Kirby Jenner, Kendall Jenner's "fraternal twin"  — or so his parody Instagram account states. Kirby, the always-cropped-out Kardashian-Jenner "sibling," now has his own eight-episode, self-titled show on Quibi — and the whole fam is in on it as well.

To hear Kirby explain it in the trailer of the series, executive producer and momager Kris Jenner persuaded him to do it. "Everyone in my family has already had their own reality shows. So when this network asked if I wanted to do my own show, I was like, 'I don't know.' I hadn't really thought about it," Kirby mused (hilariously fake mustache and all). "But then my mom said yes.'"

"I'm an amateur model, I like to rollerblade," Kirby revealed in the short clip, never breaking character. "I'm 24 years old, and I guess it's just time for me to start pulling my own weight and help out with the family business."

So, who exactly is Kirby Jenner? Let's take a look.

Kirby Jenner's true identity is a mystery

First things first: Kirby Jenner is the alter-ego of an anonymous influencer — well, as anonymous as you can be when your actual face is being used — who created the character's Insta back in 2015. Kirby has used the parody account to taut himself as Kendall Jenner's twin brother, amassing more than 1.4 million followers in the process (including Kendall).

Kirby's aesthetic is all about Photoshopping himself into some of the KarJenner family's most famous photos, including snaps of himself alongside his "twin sis," Kendall, as well as the rest of the family. We particularly love this Instagram pic of him eating cereal with Kim Kardashian's husband, Kanye West.

"You are the best kept secret of our generation," Kim told Kirby in the trailer for their Quibi show, and she couldn't be more right. Not only is Kirby a "surprise" member of the family, his "real" identity — as in, the persona of the actor-influencer portraying him — is totally under wraps.

Kirby Jenner has a super elaborate backstory

In addition to cultivating the Kirby Jenner personality on Instagram, the comedian behind Kendall Jenner's "twin" ramped up Kirby's persona prior to his Quibi show by staying in character during interviews. He remained so committed to the role that fans managed to learn tiny details about Kirby's life along the way — tidbits that are now portrayed on the Kirby Jenner series.

His rollerblading hobby? Kirby previously discussed it in a 2016 interview with Allure, revealing he was "too busy with [his] rollerblading career" to appear on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. He's sprinkled many more breadcrumbs of information throughout the years, like the LOL IRL-way he explained he has asthma. "Sometimes I get really mad or sad if I've had a rough day, and Kendall tries to play Hide Kirby's Inhaler, and I'm just not feeling it," he told Allure.

Kirby Jenner miiiight make you pee yourself laughing

If it's not obvious enough from the trailer of the Kirby Jenner Quibi series, Kendall Jenner's "twin" is hysterical and always on-brand. In the preview clip, Kirby lists each of the sisters' important talents, calling Khloé Kardashian "tall" and remarking how Kourtney Kardashian "keeps having babies." The show takes a deep dive into Kirby's life as he does photo shoots with Kendall, looks for a birthday present for mom Kris Jenner, and more, all while utilizing his earnest sincerity and dead-pan sense of humor.

Kirby perfectly showcased this style back in 2016, when he revealed in an interview with Teen Vogue that in addition to Kendall, he is also tight with Kylie Jenner. "Me and Kylie get to hang out a lot too b/c we invented a game together called 'How Fast Can Kirby Cook Kylie Breakfast' where basically she times me to cook her a 3 course breakfast," he wrote. "It's pretty fun and then I get to watch her eat at the end, which is nice."
