HGTV star, Christina Anstead, is no stranger when it comes to the finer things in life. Back in late 2016, it was her tumultuous split from former husband and father of her children, Tarek El Moussa, that had everyone talking, but now it's the Flip or Flop star's extravagant spending habits that are making headlines. With new husband and fellow HGTV reality star Ant Anstead by her side, Christina has seamlessly settled into a fabulous lifestyle. That includes a swanky Newport Beach, Calif., home, several luxury vehicles, pricey vacations, extravagant gifts, and much, much more.

Of course, Christina wasn't always rolling in the dough. "I got a job at Cintas (restroom supplies) selling toilet paper," the mom-of-three explained to The O.C. Register about how she managed to stay afloat when the real estate market stalled. "I thought it was a great job. This was some income comin' in hot."

After meeting Tarek, the two got into flipping foreclosures, a move that set the stage for their impressive fortune. Christina has since expanded on this empire in more ways than one, and she's not shy about enjoying the fruits of her labor.

Although house flipper turned reality star's penchant for the good life has been discussed before, many fans probably weren't aware to what extent. Read on for a closer look into the California native's enviable and fabulous lifestyle.

Christina Anstead's new digs are lavish

Christina Anstead wed Ant Anstead, host of HGTV's Wheeler Dealers, in December of 2018, and the couple wasted zero time before settling into a beautiful home in Newport Beach. The O.C. Register reported that the couple plunked down a hefty 4.1 million for the home, and that's before Christina worked her magic and performed extensive home renovations to achieve that signature "modern farmhouse" style that made her famous.

Among the many renovations, she also outfitted the backyard of the home with a swimming pool that only dreams are made of, as House Beautiful outlined. The backyard oasis includes a pool double in size to that of the original pool, a slide for the couple's five kids to enjoy (Ant has two kids from a previous marriage), a spa, and even a lounging area in the shallow end. The home also boasts a movie theater room, a custom wine rack Ant built himself, AND a two-story master suite, as HGTV reported.

So, when can we move in?!

Christina Anstead knows how to throw a party

Christina Anstead may be best known for executing meticulous home renovations, but she's also equally adept at throwing fabulous parties. The hostess with the mostess surprised everyone when she pulled off her very own top-secret surprise wedding ceremony and reception to her husband, Ant Anstead. As reported by People, the couple invited 70 of their nearest and dearest to a supposed boat parade, but guests were shocked to arrive at a beautiful and intimate ceremony in the backyard of the couple's home instead. Once the bride and groom exchanged vows, guests enjoyed a steak dinner and danced the night away under an elegant tent adorned with glimmering lights and opulent chandeliers swaying in the breeze.

The reality star also planned her baby shower with just as much gusto. The bash was fit for a King, or in this case, baby boy Hudson, the couple's most recent bundle of joy. Party props go to Christina's close friend and publicist, Cassie Zebisch, who acted as the brains behind the event, but something tells us that Christina had her hand in the planning of the boho themed shower every step of the way. The event was held on a Sunday afternoon at the ritzy Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach, and the guest list included 24 of Christina's closest friends and family, People reported.

It sounds like Christina has mastered the art of having fun!

Christina Anstead is big on gifts

In addition to living it up with lavish parties, Christina Anstead is also fond of both gifting and receiving extravagant gifts. As reported by Entertainment Tonight, Christina scored major wifey points in March 2019 when she gifted husband Ant Anstead with a 1958 vintage Porsche 356A/1600 Reutter Coupe on his 40th birthday. She then took to Instagram to further commemorate her husband's special day. "40 never looked so good!!" Christina penned in the post. "I love you my husband, best friend, baby daddy... You complete me. Happy 40th!! Cheers to doing the next 40 together."

But don't let Christina's generosity fool you. She often finds herself on the receiving end of such luxurious gifts as well. According to People, Christina has received her fair share of extravagant gifts, including an 8.5-carat diamond ring. WOWZA

Ant has also surprised his wife with birthday trips to exotic locales and pull off grand gestures, including professing his love to her with the use of a skywriter, People noted.

Christina Anstead has an impressive net worth

With spending habits like Christina Anstead's, it's imperative to have a net worth that is just as hefty. Fortunately, for Christina, she has just that. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Christina is worth a staggering 12 million. But where did all of that dough come from? Well, what may have once been a meager career in house flipping is now quite the opposite. Christina managed to turn her real estate investing business into much more with the help of HGTV. With the success of her hit television shows, Flip or Flop and Christina on the Coast, along with the book Christina recently co-wrote, it's not all that surprising that Christina has amassed such a large amount of wealth in such a short time.

But let's be clear, it's not always been this way. Back in 2017, when Christina was divorcing her then-husband, Tarek El Moussa, the two were reported to only be worth about 4 million, E! News reported. There have also been whisperings that finances may have played a part in the couple's demise. A source explained to People that the couple didn't see eye to eye when it came to spending, and Tarek "just couldn't or didn't want to keep up."

Either way, it appears that chapter of Christina's life is closed, and she's now free to spend her money just as she pleases. Cheers to that!
