Inside Sofia Vergara's New $26 Million Dollar Home

There's no arguing that Sofia Vergara is one of the highest-paid actresses and one of the sexiest women alive. In 2019, the Colombian-born, Modern Family alum topped Forbes' list of high-paid actresses, coming in at number two with $44.1 million — sheesh! It should be a crime to be so successful and stunning. And the cherry on top? Vergara is married to equally attractive True Blood star Joe Manganiello. Seriously, it's all truly unfair. The two tied the knot in 2015 and in June 2020, they decided to take their relationship to the next level with a step into the real estate market.

Per Variety, the couple purchased a massive California estate that set them back $26 million. According to the outlet, the purchase of the mega-mansion was particularly noteworthy as the home "had no fewer than five different owners in the past six years alone." One notable owner? Former Giants slugger Barry Bonds, who owned the home from 2002 until 2014. The owners who immediately preceded Vergara included "China's so-called 'Steel Princess,'" Diana Chen, and a Russian businessman.

While Chen "plunked the mansion back onto the market with a $30 million ask," Vergara snatched it up for $4 million less than the asking price. That being said, with all that comes within the home, the price tag is totally justified.

Sofia Vergara's home has all the works

Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello's home is located in affluent Beverly Park, a "guard-gated community" in Los Angeles, Calif. that also houses the homes of other Hollywood hotshots, including Kimora Lee Simmons and Mark Wahlberg.

According to People, the "mansion sits on 1.85 acres estate with a 17,000-square-foot villa at the center." Inside, there are seven bedrooms and 10-and-a-half bathrooms. Those who come to the home will surely be impressed by the chef's kitchen and the movie theater (with its own snack bar, of course) — both located in the main house. Aside from the main house, there's also a two-story guest house, which sits behind the home.

For a few activities, the estate has a basketball court, a tennis court, an "oval-shaped swimming pool" and a spa. The Los Angeles Times reported that the home also has its own elevator, which makes total sense for the gigantic abode.

Needless to say, this home definitely seems worthy of one of Hollywood's highest-paid stars with plenty of room for Vergara's family and her Modern Family friends.
