The 2026 Emmy Awards was a star-studded event packed with the kind of best and worst dressed moments we all love to see. The show was held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on September 14, 2026 and was hosted by "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" star Mariska Hargitay, who made sure to bring her whole family out to celebrate the occasion. While the usual celebrities graced the red carpet, many of their children also had a strong turnout this year.

Everyone was busy watching Shailene Woodley laugh off Aaron Rodgers all the way to the 2026 Emmys in a dizzying retro look, but there were many outfits from the next generation that held their own at the high-profile event. From color coordination to matching ensembles, the children of these A-list stars dressed to impress while showing support for their famous parents. Here are some of the celebrity sons and daughters who stunned on the 78th Emmy Awards red carpet.

Sally Field was all smiles with her youngest son on the red carpet

Legendary actor Sally Field attended the 2026 Emmys with her youngest son, Sam Greisman. The writer and producer proved to be her good luck charm as Field went on to win the Emmy for outstanding lead actress in a limited series or movie for her role in "Remarkably Bright Creatures." Notably, her eldest son, Peter Craig, was a producer on the film. Greisman is no stranger to showbusiness, and he showed up in a classic black and white suit that the up-and-comer elevated with stylish black boots and a unique tie.

Lisa Kudrow color coordinated with her son

Lisa Kudrow avoided the worst-dressed list at the 2026 Emmys by color coordinating with her son Julian Murray Stern. The duo dressed all in black for the ceremony, with the "Friends" star in an elegant gown and Julian in a classic suit. He is Kudrow's only child, whom she shares with her husband Michel Stern. The comedy icon was nominated twice at the Emmys, both for writing and acting in "The Comeback." Julian also appeared in the final season of the cult hit show.

Rhea Seehorn brought her stepsons to the 2026 Emmys

Rhea Seehorn's entire family got to witness her victory at the 2026 Emmys. She took home one of the biggest awards of the night, for outstanding lead actress in a drama series for her role as Carol Sturka in "Pluribus." The actor brought along her fiancé Graham Larson and stepsons Graham Franklin and Henry McLain Larson. Seehorn started dating Graham in 2013 after being set up by his ex-wife, Mary Alice Haney. Seehorn helped raise their two sons, forming a close family bond over the years. The men dressed in classy black and white suits with different neckties, while Seehorn stood out in a bright red dress that made it clear she was the star of the show.

Mariska Hargitay's family wore matching outfits

As the host of the 2026 Emmys, Mariska Hargitay made sure her whole family was there to mark the special occasion. She was accompanied by her husband Peter Hermann along with their three kids, Andrew, Amaya, and August Hermann. The celebrity couple keeps their children firmly out of the public eye, so spotting them at the high-profile event was a nice surprise for fans. Peter matched perfectly with their two sons in classic tuxedoes with black bowties. Meanwhile, Hargitay and her daughter also matched in flashy, bright red dresses. The stunning gowns were actually a tribute to the "Law & Order: SVU" star's late mother and actor Jayne Mansfield.

Jean Smart and her son stunned in all black

Bringing your family along to the 2026 Emmys proved to be a good omen for many nominees. This was especially true for actor Jean Smart, who made history by tying the record for most Emmys won by a performer after winning outstanding lead actress in a comedy series for her beloved role as Deborah Vance in "Hacks." Smart's son Forrest Gilliland was her dapper plus one. They matched in all black outfits, with the iconic actor in a floor-length black and silver gown and Forrest in a black suit with a silver tie to match his mom. Smart thanked her two sons during her acceptance speech, describing them as "my anchor," (via People).
