Todd Chrisley Looks Completely Unrecognizable In New Selfie

Many celebrities have undergone physical transformations during the coronavirus pandemic, with some stars using their quarantine downtime to upgrade their look. Real Housewives of New York star, Sonja Morgan, got a facelift, and cookbook author Chrissy Teigen removed her breast implants. But apparently, Todd Chrisley of USA' Network's Chrisley Knows Best did a whole lot more than investing in some new moisturizer during his time off. What are we talking about, exactly? In an Instagram selfie posted on Aug. 16, 2020, the star was practically unrecognizable. It seems like Todd might be suffering from whatever afflicted Brad Pitt in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button because the father of five looks like he could be one of the kids.

According to Chrisley, though, the transformation is thanks to nothing more than shaving his beard. "As you might have guessed, @juliechrisley didn't like the facial hair so I am back to basic and boring," he captioned the selfie.

Although Julie Chrisley might have told her husband to nix the beard, some fans don't believe a fresh shave is responsible for the dramatic transformation. Curious to see the pic that has people talking? We reveal Todd Chrisley's interesting new look below.

Todd Chrisley's fans don't know what to think

In the hours following the selfie post (pictured left), Todd Chrisley's Instagram got flooded with comments from fans and stars alike. "You look 12," Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna commented. Real Housewives of Orange County alum, Tamra Judge, said he looked slightly older, quipping, "You look 18."

Many fans also chimed in, wanting to know the secret to his youthful appearance. Page Six reported that one fan went so far as to ask if the new face was from a filter or a doctor. "Did you use filters on this photo or have you had a facelift?" they said. Someone else penned, "That isn't your face love the hell out of you Todd but we know what you look like and this anit [sic] it please don't be another Khloe Kardashian." Other fans were more complimentary, with one commenter writing, "Idk what you're doing, but keep it up."

Chrisley denied any enhancements, either digital or medical. He did respond to a few comments by clarifying what anti-aging procedures he uses to keep his face so fresh and glowy, though. Chrisley owned up to getting botox "every six months," and to regularly scheduling hydro facials and halo laser treatments. Whether that's all there is, or there are some other invasive procedures he's not sharing, remains to be seen. But when it comes to skincare (or maybe filters) it looks like Todd Chrisley really does know best.

Todd Chrisley is all about proper skin care

Although we can't say for certain whether Todd Chrisley is being transparent about his new and youthful appearance, we can confirm that he takes his skin very seriously. Just one example? Look no further than a 2019 clip from Chrisley Knows Best, when Todd tried to teach Savannah Chrisley's fiance, Nic Kerdiles, how to use moisturizer properly. It all started when the two shared a hotel room together, with Kerdiles first taking note of the satin pillows Todd brought with him from home. "Satin kind of helps with wrinkling," Todd explained to the former athlete. "This is part of being a man!"

The ridiculousness escalated when Todd caught Kerdiles washing his face with water. Gasp. "You're washing your face with water?" Todd exclaimed. "Water dries your skin out!" The Chrisley Knows Best star gave Kerdiles some of his moisturizer, quipping, "Whoever invented that saying, 'less is more,' was cheap."

So it's totally possible Todd's transformation is due to his good skin care routine. It's clear the businessperson knows his stuff!

The Chrisley family is no stranger to plastic surgery speculation

Todd Chrisley's selfie debacle isn't the first time fans have raised questions about the Chrisley family's ever-changing looks. Case in point: Todd's youngest daughter, Savannah Chrisley, has been at the center of much speculation, and in the past, fans have openly questioned the star about whether she has had breast implants. After walking a red carpet in 2015, the reality star was flooded with comments about her ahem, "enhanced" figure, as Life & Style reported. Savannah took to Twitter to set the record straight, writing, "All these comments about me getting a boob job...really?! Have y'all heard of [a] bra? Yea u should try one! They push your boobs up!" However, the aspiring entrepreneur did own up in 2018 via her Instagram Stories to getting a nose job, according to Bravo's Style & Living.

Although Savannah may not have tried breast augmentation, her half-sister, Lindsie Chrisley, has. As the Daily Mail noted, Todd Chrisley celebrated the surgery by giving his eldest daughter a breast-shaped cake, as seen on an early episode of Chrisley Knows Best. Regarding any other potential surgeries or augmentations, the ladies are taking a page out of dad's book and staying mum.

Of course, it's no one's business whether any members of the fam have gone under the knife.
