What Todd Chrisley Really Thinks About Savannah's Ex, Nic Kerdiles
Reality star Todd Chrisley is known for meddling in his kids' lives on their TV show Chrisley Knows Best, so of course, when it comes to one of his children's exes, he has an opinion. Todd's daughter, Savannah Chrisley, recently ended her engagement to hockey player Nic Kerdiles after three years together.
According to Country Living, Savannah met Kerdiles through Instagram, so she also decided to share the breakup news via the same platform, writing (in a now-deleted post), "We have nothing but love, respect, and admiration for one another but it's time for us to move forward individually." Kerdiles echoed the statement in his own (now-deleted) Instagram post, sharing (via People), "She has the purest heart out of anyone that I know. She has treated me with nothing but love and respect in our 3 years together."
While the breakup seemed to be a mutual decision, some fans blamed Todd for the split. So much so that E! News reported Savannah told listeners of Chrisley Confessions that several tabloids had contacted her publicist for a comment on that. But Savannah squashed those rumors on their podcast, saying, "At the end of the day, everyone loves to portray dad as this controlling freak and that's the reason my relationship didn't work out. That is false. Nic will tell you that, as well."
So while Todd may not be the reason the two broke up, you can always still count on him to tell us how he really feels, even about his daughter's ex.
Todd Chrisley misses Nic Kerdiles, but still threw a little shade his way
Reality star Savannah Chrisley and Nic Kerdiles' breakup appears to be hard, not only on the former couple, but the whole Chrisley family. Todd Chrisley must have really liked Kerdiles, because according to Life & Style, he even admitted that the family, including himself, is bummed that Kerdiles is no longer around. When a fan tweeted, "I miss Nic being around," Todd replied, "We all do, God places us all where we are supposed to be."
The real estate mogul even praised Kerdiles ahead of the election when the hockey player posted a photo of himself on Instagram after voting. The Blast reported Todd commented on the photo writing, "Another first today, our boy @nickerdiles voted for the first time in his young 26 years, pride keeps growing."
Yet while Todd still feels proud of "his boy" Kerdiles, he still has Savannah's back. When a troll commented (via The Blast), "Nick [sic] you will find a nice woman that will want to cook and have children," Todd replied to the hater, writing that Savannah was "raised to keep a home clean, do laundry, get an education, and to stand on her own two feet." And even threw some shade at Kerdiles in the process, adding that he would "be hard-pressed" to find someone better than Savannah.
It appears that Kerdiles will always be welcome in the Chrisley home, but to Todd, his children always come first!
