The Tragic Car Crash Involving RHOD Star Brandi Redmond's Family
Reality star Brandi Redmond is mourning the loss of her mother-in-law after losing her in a tragic car accident — one that also involved her daughter Brinkley. The Real Housewives of Dallas cast member took to Instagram in October 2020 to ask her fans and supporters to pray for her family as they navigate the tremendous loss. "My husbands beautiful mom has gone on to be with our Savior and my sister in laws said it best ... so I PLEASE ask that you keep my family in your prayers during this difficult time," she wrote in a since-deleted post (via Bravo).
She also asked that her fans specifically keep her daughter Brinkley in their thoughts and prayers. "I ask that you lift my sweet Brinkley up as she continues to heal and that God protects her heart and eyes from this tragedy," she penned. "I am so thankful for her life. This is probably the most thankful yet pain I've ever felt."
Brandi Remond sisters-in-law encouraged followers to 'spread love and kindness'
While, as of this writing, Brandi Remond hasn't gone into further detail about the crash that resulted in the loss of her mother-in-law, she did share an emotional note from her sisters-in-law that seemingly provided more clarity regarding the accident. "This is our mom, Jill Marie Redmond. We spoke to her daily," the Instagram post began. "To speak of her in past tense hurts beyond words. Hours ago we lost her in a tragic car accident."
The note continued, "Thank you, Jesus, for saving our niece who was in the car with her." It went on to add that their mother lost her life while "doing what she loved most — caring for her grand babies."
Brandi's sisters-in-law also encouraged those who still have their parents to communicate their feelings of love and appreciation to them. "In our mom's honor, if you have a living parent please tell them how much you love and appreciate them, and hug your loved ones extra tight tonight and always. We love you. Shine bright and spread love and kindness."
