Soleil Moon Frye Splits With Husband After 22 Years

Former Punky Brewster star Soleil Moon Frye and her husband, producer Jason Goldberg, have separated after 22 years of marriage, according to People. The pair first tied the knot in 1998 and welcomed four children together —Poet, Jagger, Lyric, and Story — throughout their two-decade-long marriage.

The parents renewed their vows in 2008 surrounded by family and friends at their Hollywood Hills home. The pair were celebrating 10 years of marital bliss when they stood at the altar together for the second time. "Besides the days my children were born – and my first wedding – it was the best night of my life," Frye told People about the "magical" evening at the time. She revealed that the couple celebrated the occasion in their garden at sunset and said that her children, Poet and Jagger (the couples' only children at the time), planted a pomegranate tree in honor of their parents' milestone. As a party favor, attendees were gifted their very own tree to mark the special day.

Following the big step in their marriage, Frye and Goldberg added two more children. So although things appeared to be going well, it appears that somewhere along the way, things fell apart. As for what went wrong?  Keep on reading for more information about Frye and Goldberg's separation.

Soleil Moon Frye and Jason Goldberg are focused are on their kids

Celebrity couple Soleil Moon Frye and Jason Goldberg "quietly separated" from one another earlier this year, their rep told People on Dec. 28, 2020. Despite going their separate ways, "their priority will continue to be their four beautiful children as they move forward with love and compassion," as their rep stated.

Just one day before the news of their split went public, Frye celebrated Christmas with her four children, while Goldberg was noticeably absent from the holiday festivities. "Happy happy day after Christmas to all. Sending everyone so much love. So grateful to be safe & cuddled up with these loves," Frye wrote via Instagram on a selfie with her children — excluding the father of four. "This room may represent some feelings of 2020. Xx," she added.

Although Goldberg may have been absent from Frye's Christmas post, it seems like the parents were on good terms as of June 2020, considering Frye's touching Father's Day message to the producer. "Happy happy father's day!!! A lot of babies and a whole lot of love. Xx," Frye wrote on Instagram at the time with a montage of sweet moments. Regardless of their struggles as a couple, it looks like Frye and Goldberg will do anything to make their relationship work for their kids.
