As for 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? stars Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa, they have welcomed not one but two children since their first TV debut in 2019. Utah-based Kalani got engaged to Samoan love Asuelu after realizing she was pregnant. They tied the knot after she gave birth, but soon found out she was expecting baby No. 2 right before their wedding day. To make matters worse, their families did not see eye to eye on Kalani's pregnancy. Kalani and Asuelu hope to expand their family
90 Day Fiancé Season 6 couple Kalani and Asuelu first met when Kalani was on vacation in Samoa. Asuleu worked as the activities director at the resort, per In Touch Weekly. Kalani opened up about being a virgin before connecting with Asuelu onscreen, explaining, "In the Mormon faith, you're taught you don't have sex before you're married, but after my second visit to Samoa to see Asuelu, I felt like I found someone I loved and I wanted to experience it with him."
Kalani got pregnant during her first time having sex, and at first, her family was against her relationship with Asuelu, whom they believed to be preying on American tourists. She told viewers that her dad "flipped the f**k out" over her pregnancy, and her sister Kolini thought Asuelu purposefully didn't use protection, according to InTouch Weekly. Kalani gave birth to their son Oliver in January 2018, and although Asuelu couldn't be there for the birth, Kalani flew to Samoa when Oliver was just two months old so he could meet his father.
Fans watched as Asuelu relocated to America, and as Kalani revealed she was pregnant once again with a second son. Kennedy was born in May 2019, making 15-month-old Oliver a big brother. Although this couple has butted heads more than a few times, Asuelu revealed in February 2019 via YouTube that he wants four kids. As for Kalani, she said, "I want a third, hopefully, a girl — and then I want to be done. So I guess we will have to compromise."
