The Movie Role Kim Kardashian Wants You To Forget About
Fans have been Keeping Up With the Kardashians since the show first aired in 2007. Since then, it seems every member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan has had their fair share of club appearances, TV show cameos, talk shows, clothing lines, makeup lines, perfume... and yes, even socks.
Now, the Kardashian empire brings in millions and millions of dollars for Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall, Kylie, Rob, Caityln, Scott... did I miss anybody? And all of it is largely thanks to Kim Kardashian-West for jumpstarting the family on the fame train.
In the span of her TV personality career, Kardashian-West has been on countless talk shows, including her sister Khloe's Kocktails with Khloe, and her mother's daytime show Kris, and sat down for one too many interviews. The reality star has also made appearances not only on her own reality series (and the various spinoffs), but also on her ex-BFF Paris Hilton's show The Simple Life, Dancing With the Stars, and her sister's spinoff Khloe & Lamar. If that were not enough, the pop culture icon has had clothing lines at Sears, endorsed Skechers, and released more perfumes than we can keep count of at this point.
Despite her myriad TV cameos, however, Kardashian-West revealed the one role she wishes she never did.
Kim Kardashian was crushed by a meteor in this parody movie
In yet another TV appearance, Kim Kardashian-West shared the movie role she did more than a decade ago that she wishes everyone would forget. Appearing on the ABC game show Big Fan in 2017, the reality star admitted her role in 2007's Disaster Movie "mortified" her, according to Us Weekly. "I'm mortified, if you have the clip. I can't watch," Kardashian-West said. In the movie clip, the reality TV queen gets killed by a meteor... yep, a meteor.
Disaster Movie starred Vanessa Minnillo, Carmen Electra, and Matt Lanter and has only a 1% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Ouch! No wonder, Kardashian-West would rather fans focus on her current work on her line of comfy underwear, SKIMS, and her beauty and perfume empire, KKW Beauty. Unfortunately for Kardashian-West, however, Disaster Movie was not her only film to end up poorly rated. Six years after the parody movie, Kardashian-West appeared in 2013's Temptation. The movie wound up with just a 17% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Maybe she should just stick with what she does best — reality TV.
