Personal trainer Sasha was rumored to still be married to his second wife while he began dating client Emily, who was working in Russia as an English teacher. The engaged couple began filming 90 Day Fiancé while Emily was pregnant with their son. Sasha already had two children from his previous relationships, per Screen Rant, and both Emily's family and viewers alike were skeptical of whether Sasha was ready to fully settle down. Eventually, Emily gave birth to their son Davidik in Russia, and the young family moved to Emily's hometown of Portland, Ore. a few months later to tie the knot.

Like other seemingly mismatched 90 Day Fiancé couples, Emily and Sasha Larina are still surprisingly going strong. The Pacific Northwest-based family appeared on spinoff 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined, and Emily boasted to Entertainment Tonight that their relationship is "stronger than ever" during the pandemic. However, Sasha and Emily agreed it is not the right time to expand their brood.
"We're not ready for it, we just got one and we're still growing," Sasha said in April 2020. "We need to grow up first, we need to get our own place, we need to get our goals, to be more financially stable." At the time, the Larinas were living with Emily's father, stepmother, and her 15-year-old sister. On 90 Day Fiancé, it was clear Sasha butt heads with Emily's other sister, Betsy. Their rocky relationship started after Sasha openly body-shamed Emily after she gave birth to Davidik, now age 2. Betsy found Sasha to be controlling— especially when he started criticizing Betsy's diet, per Cheat Sheet.
While Emily calls son Davi the "love of her life," she still gushes over husband Sasha on her Instagram. They even adopted a French bulldog puppy named Mylo Maximus "MyMy" in August 2020. Sasha and Emily's ever-expanding family is still going strong!
