Hello! Magazine reported that Jed's twin brother Jeremiah Duggar was his best man, Katey's sister was the maid of honor, and Jinger Duggar Vuolo's daughter Felicity Vuolo was one of the flower girls. The Counting On star and his bride were married in Arkansas, with some family and friends attending in person. However, most of the guests were reportedly encouraged to join via live stream. Jed's quasi-virtual wedding was supposedly a far cry from brother Justin Duggar's February 2021 wedding to Clare Spivey, a reportedly big event in Texas.

Some might say the Duggars are the Kardashians of Christian reality TV. So why did the Duggar family keep Jed Duggar and Katey Nakatsu's wedding a secret? Katey and Jed may value their privacy, as Jed has been on camera for his family's reality TV show since the age of five. Or maybe the large fam hopes to utilize the marriage for TLC's Counting On series? They have filmed many weddings for the show before, after all. Hmm.
Either way, it seems Jed and Katey are happy. "For a long time I have prayed for my future spouse, not knowing who that person would be. God answered my prayers far beyond what I could have ever imagined in Katey!" Jed captioned an Instagram post of the couple, confirming the two had tied the knot. "We have enjoyed quietly developing our relationship over the past year and every moment together has been amazing! I'm so grateful God brought Katey into my life and excited to share with you all that today she became my wife! Katey, the thought of sharing the rest of my life with you makes me the happiest man in the world! I love you so much!!"
