What The Kardashians' Body Language Really Told Us During The Big Message To Their Crew - Exclusive

Outside the family, who has spent more time with the Kardashians than the film crew that shoots "Keeping Up With the Kardashians"? It's no wonder then that Kris Jenner choked up as soon as she began to tell them that they wouldn't be filming another season — shown in an episode preview clip. But just in case anyone wondered if this emotion was legit or just crocodile tears, Nicki Swift went to Jess Ponce III, an expert in body language and personal branding and author of "A.W.E.S.O.M.E," to break down Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney's real attitudes in the clip.

"Kim looked straight ahead of her into an empty space or what I refer to as a thinking spot. In this gaze she was giving thoughtful consideration to what she was going to say," Ponce explained.

While Kim kept it cool, Khloe seemed to be more in her feels. "Khloe's facial expressions and eyes indicated that she was contemplating her own message. However, you could clearly see that Khloe was holding back deep emotion," Ponce noted. "She subtly swayed and shifted her weight in lower body, while tears began to swell in her eyes. Her feelings were activated in her body."

As for Kourtney, Ponce says that there's a good chance you're getting the wrong idea. Scroll on to read why.

Kourtney got the most real

Kourtney grabbed the most attention, according to body language expert Jess Ponce III, because initially she looked like she was the most removed. "From the onset, she was visually separate from the other three," he explained. "Her proximity was further away, she had totally different attire, held onto her cell phone and water bottle, and was the only one wearing sunglasses. She also had her hand on her hip with one foot pointed out and the other straight ahead."

And while this could be interpreted as rude, Ponce says he doesn't think that's quite accurate. "While a hand on the hip can be off putting, as if someone is judging us, I don't think that was the case with Kourtney," he noted. "Rather, she was uncomfortable or didn't quite know 'how to be' in this situation."

And in fact, Kourtney may have gotten the realest of them all. "When Kourtney spoke she started out with 'I am not a big talker, but I am so thankful...' and she nervously smiled and laughed," Ponce observed, noting that it was, "A real moment. That actually felt authentic. She wasn't polished or rehearsed. We got an awkward, vulnerable Kardashian... and isn't that part of the reason so many people loved the show?!"

So let's all take a moment to appreciate the rareness of that before the series comes to its end.
