What JT From My 600-Lb Life Is Doing Now

When JT Clark appeared on "My 600-Lb Life," he weighed 892 pounds, making him the second-heaviest person ever cast, behind only the late Sean Milliken, who weighed in at 1,003 pounds, according to Starcasm. JT also had a lymphedema mass on his leg that weighed more than 100 pounds, greatly affecting his mobility.

After eight months of working with Dr. Now, JT lost close to 300 pounds, weighing 619. Although he was still too heavy to be approved for weight loss surgery, Dr. Now approves him anyway, much to his own surprise. There is, however, one condition: JT must continue his weight loss trajectory and lose at least 40 more pounds before the date of his surgery. And sure enough, he did it!

At the end of the episode, JT weighed 491 pounds, losing nearly half of his previous body weight. He had also been promised surgery to remove his 100-pound lymphedema "in the next couple months." With a goal weight of 220, losing the lymphedema would get JT substantially closer. But that was the last we heard from JT. Did he ever get his lymphedema removed? Did he reach his goal weight? Let's find out.

JT has stayed quiet since his time on 'My 600-Lb Life'

JT Clark does not appear to have any public social media profiles, making it rather difficult to continue following his weight-loss journey. However, that hasn't stopped internet sleuths from trying to dig up dirt on JT's progress.

Reality Tidbit reports that a fan dug up an image from a Facebook profile believed to belong to JT, which showed his face looking much slimmer than it had previously. Another purported image of a slimmer JT made its way around Facebook as well, but fans in the comments came to the consensus that it was not him in the photo, as the men in the photos had very different noses and eyes.

Reality Tidbit also reports that JT moved to Houston full-time to be closer to Dr. Now. There is no official word as to whether he had his lymphedema removed, but fans on the Lymphedema Guru page on Facebook (yes, that's a real thing) took to the comments to show their support. "Hopefully he reads what we have all wrote and he sees how many people are rooting for him," one user wrote. "I hope JT will update here so we can see how he's doing," wrote another. "I'm really rooting for him!" What JT is doing now is a bit of a mystery to fans, but they're still wishing him the best.
