What Isaac Martinez From My 600-Lb Life Is Doing Today

"My 600-Lb Life" continues to be a rousing success for TLC, as many people tune in every week to watch Dr. Now help his patients achieve weight loss. With a no-nonsense approach to accountability, Dr. Now has helped hundreds of patients lose thousands of pounds.

One of those patients is Isaac Martinez, who at 23 years old, weighed 661 pounds at his first weigh-in. The Texas native was then put on a very restrictive diet, wherein he was allowed proteins and vegetables but no carbohydrates and was only permitted to consume 1200 calories. By the time his episode premiered in February, he lost 122 pounds — which is quite impressive! He was also approved for gastric bypass surgery.

Unfortunately, that's where his episode of the show cut off —  so, we had to ask: what is Isaac Martinez of "My 600-Lb Life" doing today? Here's what we found out about the former reality star.

Isaac Martinez appears to value his privacy

Isaac Martinez went on "My 600-Lb Life" with the intent to change his life, and it looks like that's exactly what he did. By losing weight on Dr. Now's program, he was able to rid himself of cellulitis, which was plaguing his health and could have rendered him comatose if he didn't make some necessary changes.

It appears fans who have been wondering what Isaac has been up to since his episode aired won't get the chance to see his results, as according to Monsters and Critics, Isaac has kept a very low profile since his episode of "My 600-Lb Life." Although his social media accounts were public at the time of his show's airing, they are now private.

In addition, the outlet tried to reach out to Isaac for an update about his life, and he hadn't responded. So, it's safe to say that the former reality star prefers to keep his private life private. And we're definitely here for respecting his privacy.
