Paul Wesley And Phoebe Tonkin Break Up After Four Years Together

The CW's hottest couple has called it quits.

According to Us Weekly, The Vampire Diaries' (2009-2017) Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin are no longer an item. The pair, who reportedly met on the set of the hit supernatural drama, first had fans worrying about a possible split when Tonkin was seen without her gold Cartier promise ring that her former beau had given her.

"They definitely broke up," a source revealed to the magazine, adding that the two no longer live together.

Wesley, 34, and Tonkin, 27, who spent the holidays together in Australia with Tonkin's family, were together for four years.

In hindsight, there were a few hints that there was trouble in paradise. Wesley has been notably absent from Tonkin's Instagram, where he'd previously made regular appearances. What's more, Tonkin, who currently stars on The Vampire Diaries' spinoff The Originals (2013-), appeared to be alone on Valentine's Day when she posted a selfie and expressed some disdain for the "very corporate holiday."

But there doesn't appear to be any bad blood between the former lovers. A source told E! News that "they are still good friends" and that their relationship "just ran its course."

Wesley was previously married to Chicago Med actress Torrey DeVitto from 2011 to 2013.
