Beyoncé FaceTimes With Teen Fan Fighting Cancer

Man, she really is a queen.

Beyoncé, goddess that she is, took time out of her busy day as a megastar to do some major good for one fan. The "Crazy in Love" singer FaceTimed with superfan Ebony Banks, a young girl battling cancer, on March 22, 2017.

According to KHOU, Banks, called Ebob by her friends, has been diagnosed with a rare type stage IV cancer. So her classmates and family members started a social media campaign to help grant the high school senior's biggest wish–to meet Beyoncé. Using the hashtag #ebobmeetsbeyonce, they shared posts all over the internet, earning thousands of retweets, to make Banks' dreams come true.

One such tweet included a message describing Ebony. "Everyone that knows Ebony can agree that she's an amazing friend to have. Or an amazing person to meet. And we are so grateful to have Ebony be [a part] of our lives." The post goes on to explain Banks' condition and her hopes of meeting one of her "most adored artists," Beyoncé.

Luckily, their hard work paid off. Beyoncé, who's currently pregnant with twins, FaceTimed Banks, who was sitting in a Houston hospital bed. A short video of their meeting was shared online and shows Beyoncé, 35, smiling and waving to the camera. After Banks tells her that she loves her, Beyoncé replies, "I love you."

But Beyoncé wasn't the only one to show Banks some extra love. Banks' school district held an early graduation ceremony for the girl on March 16, 2017 at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she's currently receiving treatment.
