Is Kim Kardashian West Ready For Baby No. 3?

Kim Kardashian West seems ready to have more children–but is that really what's best for her?

In a recently released promo for the April 2, 2017 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians (2007-), Kardashian West reveals that she wants to have another child with husband Kanye West, even though medical professionals have warned her against the idea.

"I want my kids to have siblings, but the doctors don't feel like it's safe for me," Kardashian West states in the promo clip.

Kardashian West's experienced difficult pregnancies with her two children, North and Saint. According to People magazine, the reality star experienced placenta accreta, a potentially life-threatening condition that occurs when the placenta doesn't naturally expel from the body after a woman gives birth.

The 36-year-old, who was robbed at gunpoint in Paris in Oct. 2016, previously discussed the condition on her website (via People) after giving birth to her daughter. "My doctor had to stick his entire arm in me and detach the placenta with his hand, scraping it away from my uterus with his fingernails," she wrote. "My mom was crying; she had never seen anything like this before. My delivery was fairly easy, but then going through that–it was the most painful experience of my life!"

Sounds horrible!

Unfortunately, Kardashian West also suffered from preeclampsia during her pregnancies, as reported by E! News, and as a result, experienced high blood pressure and swelling.

However, it seems that Kardashian West may be considering having a third child regardless of her past medical conditions. A source close to the social media star told People, "Whenever things are going great with Kanye, Kim talks about having another baby." The magazine's insider also said that the birth of a third baby would also reportedly be "a great storyline for the show."

It is possible that Kardashian could hire a surrogate to have another child for her and her husband. In Nov. 2016, Kardashian West seemed to be considering this method as a way to have more children with her husband without enduring any unnecessary health risks. "Obviously I do want to have my own baby," she said in a clip for Keeping Up With the Kardashians (via E! News). "But I truly don't know if my body can handle it one more time."

Guess we'll just have to watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians to learn what Kardashian West ultimately decides to do.
