Vin Diesel And The Rock Settle Beef

The Fast and Furious franchise isn't slowing down, and Vin Diesel and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson are allegedly still along for the ride.

Sources close to the production have told TMZ that both stars will show up for the next installment despite the rumored feud sparked by The Rock's cryptic Instagram post in August 2016.

"My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story," Johnson posted. "Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyway. Candy a**es," he continued.

People quickly reached the conclusion that Johnson was talking about Diesel, although Johnson never confirmed that or elaborated on the accusation.

Diesel made a few of his own cryptic replies, teasing, "I'll tell you everything," in one Instagram video, only to then offer vague praise for Johnson when he finally got around to talking about it in a second video.

"Back in the fifth film, when I was asking 'Who should I work with?' The reason why we brought Dwayne Johnson into 'Fast Five' was because of you. There was a girl named Jen Kelly who said, 'I would love to see you guys work together onscreen' and so we gave a role, that was initially written for Tommy Lee Jones, but we gave it to Dwayne, and he shined in it," Diesel said, according to Indiewire.

The latest episode in the drama was a USA Today interview where Diesel again praised Johnson.

"I don't think the world really realizes how close we are, in a weird way," Diesel said. "I think some things may be blown out of proportion. I don't think that was his intention. I know he appreciates how much I work this franchise. In my house, he's Uncle Dwayne."

With sources confirming to TMZ that the beefy costars are supposedly "good" and "1000% in for the next flick," it would seem like Johnson is now on the same page. Sources attributed the problem to "real estate," which basically meant they were clashing over who was the main star of the movie, but with the ever-growing ensemble cast of the high-octane franchise, there's obviously room for everyone.
