What Is Mohamed From 90 Day Fiance Doing Today?

Fans of "90 Day Fiance" or its spin-offs know that this reality series packs on the drama. And just in case there's a chance you haven't watched any "90 Day Fiance" episodes, we'll fill you in on the premise of the show. The "90 Day" part refers to the K-1 visa, which dictates the amount of time a person has to marry their prospective bride or groom-to-be before they have to leave the United States for their home country.

In the spin-off "90 Day Fiance: The Other Way," the American fiance travels to their love's country. There is also "90 Day Fiance: The Single Life," which follows past cast members as they search for new love, and "90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After," which catches up with former couples of the original show.

Mohamed Jbali, an original cast member from Season 2 of "90 Day Fiance," had one of the most controversial and strife-filled romances when he met and eventually married Danielle Mullins. Mohamed, who is originally from Tunisia, and Danielle, who hails from Ohio, started their relationship online, and it quickly became tumultuous, including everything from financials to intimacy issues. Mohamed and Danielle ultimately split up after getting hitched, and now fans are curious to know where he is now.

Mohamed built a new life for himself

Mohamed Jbali had a turbulent, if not downright terrible start to his stay in the United States. After his failed marriage to partner, Danielle Jbali (nee Mullins), ended in 2017, he headed to Miami with his newly minted green card. Since getting permission to stay in the U.S. after his divorce, Mohamed moved from Miami to Chicago before finally settling in Indianapolis, per Screen Rant

Wanting to travel and make money while he was doing it, Mohamed chose to start a career as a truck driver. "This job really is not easy job and it gets harder and harder over the time but by the end of the week when you look at your paycheck and remember that you have no bills to pay and no rent to worry about plus you see how your bank account is growing bigger, you just smile," he wrote on Facebook about the gig. Now he and his dog, an Akita named Bowie, travel the United States. The two were even given kudos, per Mohamed's Instagram, for continuing to deliver supplies despite the pandemic.

Interestingly enough, Mohamed met up with Danielle during one of his work trips for an episode of "90 Day: Single Life" — keep scrolling to find out how it went.

Mohamed's surprising reunion with Danielle

Mohamed wasn't the only one to move on after his and Danielle's divorce. His ex-wife went on to obtain her nursing degree, something she'd wanted to do for some time. In June the reality TV star posted pictures to her Instagram feed of her capping ceremony for her graduation from nursing school.

Maybe it was the pair moving on that made it possible for them to reconnect for a February episode of "90 Day: The Single Life," which is pretty impressive when you consider they didn't speak for three years and Danielle sued Mohamed. The two met at a diner and engaged in casual chitchat, which set the stage for a later reunion, that time over Zoom. As Danielle told Us Weekly, that second reunion happened off-camera, and that's when Mohamed supposedly apologized for their past. "I think that we're better off as friends," she told the outlet. "I mean, he's supportive of my schooling and I'm supportive of his job."

All's well that ends well, right? As long as Mohamed and Danielle are happy, that's all that matters.
