Harry Styles Announces Week-Long Residency On The Late Late Show

The month of May just got a whole lot better for One Direction fans.

Harry Styles just announced that he will be doing a week-long residency on The Late Late Show With James Corden in May 2017. He will be the first guest in the history of the show to hold down a spot for an entire week.

Of course, a simple announcement would not suffice to reveal this very important information, which is why it came via a YouTube video of Styles FaceTiming Corden. In the hilarious sketch, the 23-year-old asks if he can crash in the Late Late Show studio while he's in Los Angeles because he wants to "stay somewhere that feels like home."

Corden ultimately agrees to let Styles stay at the studio—as long as he understands that he'll have to pitch in with the show, telling him that the studio is "no Airbnb." The former One Direction star offers his singing services, only to be shot down by the late night host who assures Styles that he will be the one doing the singing.

All jokes aside, it seems that Styles will actually be able to sing after all and will reportedly perform a new track from his self-titled album each night. However, since Corden and Styles just so happen to be super close friends, we're sure that his duties as a performer won't stop there. It will certainly be a busy week for Styles, as his album is scheduled for release on May 12, just three days before the start of his Late Late Show gig.

You can catch Styles' upcoming Late Late Show performance starting on May 15, 2017 on CBS. Be sure to mark your calendars.
