Demi Lovato And Guilherme 'Bomba' Vasconcelos Call It Quits

Singer Demi Lovato and her MMA fighter boyfriend, Guilherme "Bomba" Vasconcelos, have reportedly split.

People confirmed the news Monday, May 8, 2017. But luckily, an insider told the magazine, "It wasn't a dramatic split." The source added, "Bomba is a good guy, but the relationship just ran its course."

According to Us Weekly, Lovato and Vasconcelos had been linked since July 2016 following a short summer fling. As another source alleged back then, Lovato, 24, was "just having fun" and "still looking to meet new guys." However, their relationship grew more serious when they officially became a couple in January 2017—after ringing in the New Year together.

Soon, the "Cool for the Summer" singer and the 31-year-old athlete were professing their love for one another and sharing cute photos on social media. These ranged from showing off their combat skills to posting several cute, cuddly snapshots on Instagram.

In early April, Lovato gushed about her romance with Vasconcelos during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. After displaying a sweet pic of the two, she said, "Isn't he cute? He's so cute," before telling the host, "I'm very happy...Life is really good."

Although neither have publicly commented on the break up, it seems Lovato isn't letting it slow her down. She was recently named one of Time's 100 Most Influential People, and just last week, she announced on Twitter that she is set to star in the YouTube documentary I Am: Demi Lovato, which will premiere sometime later this fall. The Grammy nominee also recently revealed that she is partnering with Fabletics on a limited-edition collection meant to empower women and reinforce body positivity.
