Bethenny Frankel Has Eye-Opening Advice For Thanksgiving

Bethenny Frankel has a penchant for telling it like it is — or at least expressing her truth — especially when it comes to uncomfortable topics no one wants to talk about. The former "The Real Housewives of New York" star has been very candid over the years about her divorce battle with her ex-husband Jason Hoppy, and how it's impacted her life, her mental health, and her daughter Bryn Hoppy's future. In an interview with Us Weekly back in 2016, she said, "There are still some bad parts that I definitely thought would be gone. But the hardest parts have been anything that seems negative for my daughter. Anything that is unnecessarily negative for my daughter is really challenging for me. You know, you kind of have to look inside, find your strength."

But, then again, the reason why so many of Bethenny's fans look up to her is because she manages to rise above her struggles. She told Interview, "I'm good in crisis and I'm good when things are a little crazy and insane," proving that she's the ultimate "Girlboss" (even though she doesn't want to be called that).

But it's Bethenny's eye-opening advice on how to tackle one of the most stressful and challenging times of the year that really has everyone talking. That's because what she said has resonated with a lot of people who might be too scared to talk about it.

Bethenny Frankel is not scared of having a lonely holiday

Bethenny Frankel knows that not every holiday will be a perfect one and that everyone's family dynamic is certainly different. So, when one of her Twitter fans admitted she was dreading being alone on Thanksgiving, Bethenny offered this insight: "You're not alone...& I've spent Thanksgiving solo before & it was peaceful & a time for reflection. One year I did yoga & watched tv. Another year I jumped in the cold ocean. It's on a day ending in Y-some years we do it on Wed. Don't get too attached to the marketing of a day."

Of course, it didn't take long for Bethenny's Twitter followers to reply to her comment, with a lot of them admitting that they, too, will miss having some family members with them during the holiday season, while others said they could do without theirs. With that said, it's no surprise that someone like Bethenny could bring people together — at least in thought — on a day that many would secretly like to spend on their own.
