Abby Lee Miller Reportedly Hired Consultant To Prepare For Prison

The Dance Moms star wasn't about to go to prison without knowing just what to expect—and how to handle herself.

According to TMZ, Abby Lee Miller hired a former law enforcement official as a consultant for two months in order to learn about how she can live her best life behind bars. The site's sources said that Miller was told to get close with the guards and follow strict orders—because that's how you get the best work assignments, such as cooking class, accounting and cosmetology.

The consultant also reportedly advised Miller to form relationships with any "starstruck" inmates, who could help defend her against prison bullies.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Miller, 50, surrendered to the FCI Victorville facility in Victorville, Calif. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, where she'll be serving her 366-day sentence after being found guilty of fraud.
