Stars Who Never Seem To Learn Their Lesson

Some stars are straight-up repeat offenders. From Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez never giving up on love, to Suge Knight and Charlie Sheen's lengthy rap sheets—these stars may never learn their lessons.

Scott Disick

Few people in reality TV can party like Scott Disick. Over the years, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has revealed a serious drinking and partying problem.

In October 2015, Disick entered rehab for the second time that year and his fourth time overall, reported E! News. That stint began right after he split from Kourtney Kardashian, with whom he shares three kids.

After a rowdy 2016 and early 2017, Disick's friends reportedly grew concerned that his partying was getting out of hand again, reported TMZ. After a trip to Cannes, France, even wild child Bella Thorne realized she couldn't keep up with the reality star. "Scott is really nice, sweet, charming," the actress told Complex UK. "I don't drink, and he really drinks a lot. And it just ended up...I just wasn't down. I was like, 'I gotta leave.' We were [at Cannes] a day and a half before I was like I'm booking my flight and leaving. I love to go out and have fun, I love to f**king dance, but I just don't party hardcore like that and it was way too much for me. I was like, 'Woah, this is not the way I live my life, bruh.'"

Teresa Giudice

Not long after Teresa Giudice finished serving time for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud charges, she nearly risked it all with a silly probation mistake. According to The Associated Press (via USA Today), The Real Housewives of New Jersey star almost landed back in jail after neglecting to report two traffic violations to her probation officer. Giudice was ticketed for driving and talking on her phone in New Jersey and, in a separate incident, for making an illegal left turn.

Her lawyer told TMZ the star did report the tickets, but it wasn't within the regulated time frame. "Both she and I have spoken to her officer and understand exactly what is required should she have any future contact with law enforcement, which we do not anticipate will happen."

Suge Knight

Few celebrities have a rap sheet as lengthy and shocking as Marion "Suge" Knight's. According to a comprehensive legal timeline published by Vulture, Knight racked up eight arrests between 1987 and 1997. The trouble began in '87 when he allegedly roughed up his then-girlfriend and cut off her ponytail. He was arrested with Dr. Dre and DOC for brawling at a New Orleans movie premiere, which they were not invited to, in 1992 (Some 80 police officers responded to that scene.) In 1997, after pleading guilty to another assault, a Los Angeles prosecutor asked the court, "How many bites of the probation apple does this defendant get?" The court's response: nine years in prison.

Speaking with the New York Post in 2000, the Death Row Records co-founder expressed some remorse. "I wouldn't say that I'm looking to become a role model when I leave prison, but the violent parts of my life have come to an end."

Fast forward to 2017: Knight stands accused of murder and fleeing the scene after running over two men and killing one of them, Terry Carter, in Compton, Calif. in 2015. Gruesome video footage of the incident was published by TMZ with permission from Carter's family. If convicted, Knight could spend the rest of his crime-riddled life in prison.

Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan's history of arrests and drama is as lengthy as her acting resume. The starlet's legal troubles began in 2007 when, according to an E! News timeline, she was booked for driving under the influence with possession of cocaine, then arrested again for suspicion of driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license, and possession of cocaine. She pleaded guilty to drug use and driving under the influence and was sentenced to one day in jail and 10 days community service.

In May 2010, an arrest warrant was issued after Lohan missed a court date because she was supposedly stranded in Cannes, France after losing her passport. She ended up in jail yet again midway through that year for failing to attend a court-ordered alcohol education class. A judge gave her 90 days behinds bars for that misstep, but she served less than two weeks .

Like a broken record, the Mean Girls star continued to screw up her probation requirements, and in 2016, she made her way into police reports again after accusing ex-boyfriend Egor Tarabasov of trying to kill her at her home in London. No charges were brought against him.

Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez may be a hopeless romantic. She's been married three times (and on the receiving end of five proposals), but Jenny from the block is not giving up on her quest for lasting love.

Let's review her rocky road: J-Lo's first marriage to Cuban actor Ojani Noa in 1997 lasted just one year, but he's still a thorn in her side. Her 2001 union with backup dancer Cris Judd was even shorter. After Judd came the hyped romance with Ben Affleck, which shall be forever known as "Bennifer," and may never go away. Jen and Ben postponed their wedding, then called the whole thing off in January 2004. Lopez bounced back quickly, marrying fellow Latin sensation Marc Anthony later that year. They welcomed twins in 2008 and welcomed divorce in 2011. "I hung in there for seven years," the star told W magazine. "I knew very quickly that it wasn't the right thing."

According to the Daily Mail, Lopez has "feared being ridiculed in the press and envisioned headlines like 'The Woman Who Has Everything But Can't Get Love Right'!" In her 2014 memoir, True Love, she writes (via E! News), "I've never gotten a black eye or busted lip, but I have been in relationships where I felt abused one way or another: mentally, emotionally, verbally."

Charlie Sheen

Charlie Sheen's fame and fortune have been undermined by tragedy and turmoil, including a long list of sexcapades, domestic abuse issues, and drug abuse. According to an analysis in TV Guide, the mayhem began in 1990 when he accidentally shot then-fiancée Kelly Preston in the arm. Later that year, Sheen checked himself into rehab. In 1995, he confessed in a tax evasion case that he spent $53,000 on prostitutes, and the next year he was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend. In 1998, Sheen overdosed on cocaine and returned to rehab. Before their divorce was finalized in 2006, second-wife Denise Richards alleged he was abusing drugs and abusing her.

After several ups and downs with third wife Brooke Mueller, Sheen publicly disclosed that he is HIV positive in 2015. "It's a hard three letters to absorb. It's a turning point in one's life," he told Today. "I have to put a stop to this onslaught, this barrage of attacks and of sub-truths and very harmful and mercurial stories that are about me."

Sheen has gone on to advocate for HIV/AIDs awareness, and according to leading HIV/AIDs advocates, he could make a big difference. "No one would recommend this guy as an ambassador for feminist, egalitarian relationships," said JD Davids, managing editor of The Body, to CNN. "That being said, he can absolutely take a vital leadership role in providing accurate and lifesaving information on HIV, and in advocating for the policies that can end the epidemic in our lifetimes."

T.I. (aka Clifford Harris) has not only rapped about violence and crimes in his music, but he's also lived it. In 2007, he was arrested on federal gun charges. According to CNN, T.I  was caught attempting to buy $12,000 worth of weapons—including three machine guns and two silencers—through his bodyguard during a federal sting operation in Atlanta. T.I. reportedly used a middle man because he's a convicted felon, which means he's not allowed to own guns. He was sentenced to one year and one day in prison and ordered to pay a $100,300 fine.

Shortly after his release in 2010, T.I. and his wife, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, were arrested for alleged drug possession during a traffic stop in Los Angeles and sentenced to 11 months in prison for violating his probation. "I screwed up," he told the court (via ABC News.) "I screwed up big time and I am sorry...I don't need to use drug anymore. I want them out of my life."

Soon after his release, T.I. was reportedly taken into custody again after a bizarre blunder. According to the Daily Mail, he was transported from prison to a halfway house in a luxury tour bus but allegedly failed to accurately disclose his tricked-out mode of transportation to authorities.

Rob and Chyna

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna's rocky union is a prime example of loving gone wrong. The estranged couple hooked up in January 2016 under tense circumstances— as in Chyna had a baby with a rapper named Tyga who broke up with her to date Kardashian's younger sister, Kylie Jenner. By March of that year, Kardashian was dodging rumors that his family life was in ruins because of Chyna. The next month, Rob proposed to Chyna with a massive 7-carat, $325,000 ring, and the next month, the couple announced they were expecting a child

The duo inked a lucrative deal for its own reality show, Rob and Chyna, but the pair's off-screen drama overshadowed the on-screen footage. A ferocious on-again-off-again roller coaster ensued on social media, with high points during the birth of baby Dream, and low points soon after. By July 2017, the relationship seemed to hit rock bottom when Kardashian posted naked photos of Chyna all over the internet—actions that could be classified as illegal "revenge porn." Chyna has lawyered up.

And yet we're all still wondering if this train wreck will somehow prove lucrative in TV land.

Azealia Banks

Azealia Banks is not afraid to back up her bark with a mighty bite. One of the rapper's most famous public feuds involved hip hop star Iggy Azalea in February 2012. According to Complex, her beef with the Australian lyricist began when Azalea landed the cover of XXL's annual freshman issue as the only rookie female rapper. That sent Banks into a tizzy.

"How can you endorse a white woman who called herself a 'runaway slave master?'" she ranted on Twitter. "Iggy Azalea on the XXL freshman list is all wrong...I'm not anti white girl...but I'm also not here for any1 outside my culture trying to trivialize very serious aspects of it."

The racial commentary continued in November 2013 when Banks slammed Pharrell Williams, accusing him of failing to promote their collaboration because she's dark-skinned. "The reason 'ATM Jam' did poorly is because Pharrell changed his mind about wanting to be associated with me after he had his lite skin comeback," she tweeted.

Banks has also verbally brawled with Lady Gaga, T.I., Nicki Minaj, and Russell Crowe. Yes, as in Russell Crowe of Gladiator. According to E! News, Banks claimed the Oscar-winner choked her and spat on her during an altercation at a shindig he was hosting in a Beverly Hills hotel suite in October 2016, but the police investigation found that Banks was the "assaultive party" at the party.

Lamar Odom

Former NBA star Lamar Odom's troubles with alcohol and drugs have played out in the media for years, but his defining disaster occurred when he was discovered unconscious at a Nevada brothel in the fall of 2015. A source told E! News," Virtually every drug imaginable was found in his system." Odom later revealed he suffered 12 strokes and two heart attacks during the incident.

After a lengthy hospitalization, Odom appeared to be making positive strides, appearing at appeared at Kanye West's fashion show in February 2016 and at an Easter church service with then-wife Khloe Kardashian the following month.

But by July of that year, he appeared to be struggling again. After allegedly partaking in a few too many adult beverages in an airport lounge, Odom was removed from a flight for being drunk and vomiting on himself, reported TMZ

In December 2016, Odom had taken yet another step to regain control of his life, checking into rehab and remaining there until after the new year. In March 2017, Odom told Us Weekly he was turning his life around: "Living sober, meaning no drugs, is a great feeling. "

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift will be the first to tell you, she's got "a long list of ex-lovers," and most of those failed relationships have been splashed across the tabloids and woven into her music

According to a timeline of Tay's lovers compiled by Elle, her first high-profile boyfriend was boy band star Joe Jonas in 2008, followed by Twilight's famous werewolf, Taylor Lautner, in 2009, and musician John Mayer and actor Jake Gyllenhaal in 2010. The latter reportedly fueled the lyrics for the ever popular "We Are Never Getting Back Together ." Next came a brief stint with American royalty: Swift dated Conor Kennedy (and bought a house across the street from his grandma) in 2012. She flipped the romance, and the house, later that year and moved on to One Direction's Harry Styles. Then came a hot and heavy romance with DJ Calvin Harris in 2015 that lasted a year—her longest relationship. When it ended, it was ugly

Swift rebounded at lightning speed with actor Tom Hiddleston, with whom she was photographed all over the world in a matter of just three months. They parted ways, in part, due to the intense attention from the press. "A relationship always takes work," he told GQ. "A relationship in the limelight takes work. And it's not just the limelight. It's everything else."

At the time of this writing, Swift was dating actor Joe Alwyn.

Shia LaBeouf

Stories of Shia LaBeouf and booze play like a broken record. The troubled actor was arrested on July 8, 2017 in Savannah, Ga. and charged with disorderly conduct, obstruction, and public drunkenness, reported People. The Transformers star reportedly went off the rails when he asked a random person for a cigarette, and that random person refused. According to a police statement, LaBeouf "became disorderly, using profanities and vulgar language in front of the women and children present. He was told to leave the area and refused, becoming aggressive toward the officer." The reportedly refused arrest and took off toward a hotel before being cuffed and hauled off to jail.

A few months earlier, in April 2017, LaBeouf allegedly lost his cool after drinking at a bar in Studio City, Calif., reported TMZ.  "You f**king racist! F**k you!" he was heard shouting to the restaurant staff. The heated exchange had something to do with French fries.

In 2014, he was slapped with one count of criminal trespassing and two counts of disorder conduct after disrupting a performance of Broadway's Cabaret. An allegedly drunk LaBeouf "reportedly stood up in the middle of the 'Cabaret' performance to yell at the actors onstage with a cigarette in his mouth. He was later seen crying outside the venue in handcuffs," reported Variety. That same night, before the show, LaBeouf was filmed allegedly fighting with a homeless man over a hat in the middle of Times Square, reported TMZ
