Kylie Jenner Reveals The Big Reason She Went Blonde For The 2017 Met Gala

There are just a few people whose style advice you should always take—and Donatella Versace is near the top of the list.

In a clip for the Aug. 27nd episode of Life of Kylie, Kylie Jenner revealed that the famed fashion designer made her opt for a blonder 'do for the 2017 Met Gala.

While getting ready for one of the biggest nights in fashion, Jenner's assistant told the reality star that she received a very important text message. "You guys, I just got a text. 'Can I ask you what color Kylie's doing her hair? Donatella is asking," she said (via E! News).

Jenner replied, "Say, 'Does Donatella think she should do blonde or black?'"

Hearing Versace's answer of 'blond for sure,'" Jenner's makeup artist Ariel said, "When Donatella says blonde, you go blonde."

Wise words.

Jenner's certainly no stranger to risk-taking when it comes to fashion. In fact, we'd argue she's only gotten more confident trying out new styles. On Friday, Aug. 25, the 20-year-old revealed that she'd taken part in her first "super nude" photo shoot for V Magazine.
